Press the green flag to randomly generate a forest. You will probably want to put it in turbo mode because it takes quite a long time to finish. (Hold shift and press the green flag). The leaves at the end take ages so you might have to wait a while for it to finish. You can choose which season you want it to be (it just changes the colour of the leaves). If you don't choose, it will pick a random one. Sorry the leaves take ages! Nothing might happen at first but wait a bit and the leaves will start appearing because the sprite starts at the top and works its way down.
