"Scratch is dead. " -Somewhere around 2012. Within the month of April, A sinister project was shared, its title being.. "Scratch is dead. ". The project was curated by the now banned user called “SunnyBouy2”, the project featured all of the scratch mascots except scratch. Opening in on a funeral with all of them crying for 5 minutes..then it would abruptly cut to the title screen..playing Kevin Macleod’s “Disco Con Tutti”.The project included random cuts to pictures of dogs and cats with deformities.. Each one being more disturbing then the last..The story within the project it’s self was more or less simple, but depressing..showing each mascot talking about how much they missed scratch, and at the end of the project, flaring text would demand the viewer to hurt themselves or else a dead scratch cat would eat them. And despite how stupid that’s sounds, some in fact did believe this. In fact some believe that the user “Luv_BugXxX” was a victim of this trashy excuse of a project. As after they commented on the project saying “what is this? lol” .They stopped updating, posting, and hearting/favoriting any projects. Some just assume they simply left, and that others that believe they actually died are idiots, After the project got took down, someone reported SunnyBouy2’s account getting him shadow banned off the platform..the people who followed Sunny often wonder if he’s back on scratch with a new account, and talk about the project online… Some even claiming on those forums that they have the elusive project saved to their computers. And brag about having a project with a “kill count”..chanting in those forums “SCRATCH IS DEAD.”
