Chapter 15 - The Knight Of Illusion, and Escape. -- Umbra braced himself. A sort of light chuckle came from the kit. Still wary, Umbra looked closer. The Kit was dressed in a type of Knight armor, had a sword, and what looked like two daggers, a long with pouches attached to their belt. Their skin was snow-white in color,with fully black eyes, and short, slightly less white, looking silver, hair. They also had a scale-like cloth that covered the bottom of their head, like a raised bandana. Umbra was about to say something When fortuna blinked, and suddely moved. With astioishing speed, Fortuna launched a flurry of cards at The Kit. And explosive noise, and smoke when Fprtuna hit his target. "Fortuna, why'd-" Umbra started to ask, and Fortuna gasped. The smoke had cleared, and The kit was unharmed. Again, Fortuna launched another flurry of cards at the kit. Umbra yelled over the noise "Fortuna, stop!" As Fortuna paused from the sudden shout, a explosive card in his hand, They looked at the Kit, who, with incredible speed, was actually intersepting the cards with their sword before they hit, and with no explosion this time,Umbra head the faint noise of them hitting the sword. The kit looked over at them. "Aw. I wanted to keep it mysterous. Oh well." They dashed forward with unbelievable speed, and was in front of Umbra. "I'm Phantasm, Knight of Illusion. pleasure to see you all here." Phantasm looked over at the three of them. Crypt,who was a silent as ever, Umbra, who was eager, and Fortuna, the Jumpy one. Both Umbra and Crypt looked over at Fortuna. He ducked his head. "Sorry,I guess. I thought you were another test." He paused. "Are you?" Phantasm laughed. "No. I've been doing your tests though, watching. That was a really smart way for the final one. Crypt walked forward. "What would you have done with Umbra if we could not have escaped with him, Knight?" Phantasm looked Umbra up and down. "Well, you're kind of cute." Umbra raised his eyebrow. "What?" Phantasm lifted their hand upwards."Kidding, kidding!" They paused. "I never really thought about that." They Looked out into the white box. "I've been here awhile." She then looked at the trio. "Tell you what. I can get all of us off this rock." She then looked at Fortuna. "All I need is you." -- Phantasm watched halfheartedly as Crypt's Skeletions surrounded them, acting as a shield. Umbra stumbled a few times on the exposed roots below the volcano. Beside them, was Crypt's ship, being carried by many Skeletions, along with Umbra and Fortuna's tiny boat. "I wonder what's going on at Home." Fortuna asked aloud. "They're probably doing well. I hope Pyro didn't start something. He was getting pretty riled up before we left." Umbra shook his head. "Phantasm, where do you come from?" "Hm? me? It's not worth mentioning. A small, suffocating island with guardians." "I thought all kits came from Kitland or The Exiled island." Crypt said, with a questioning tone. "Well, not everyone is made. Some are born, or just appear to exist." Phantasm responded. "Here we are." They were almost at the top of a sloped lava pit. Too tiny to be a volcano, like previously thought. Crypt set his boat down into the lava pit. "All aboard!" Crypt called. Phantasm turned to Fortuna. "Now, use those explosive cards on the lava. It'll make a big explosion that will carry us past the island's barrier." Fortuna threw some cards down into the lava. it started to bubble. "Get on and hold on!" Yelled Umbra. both Phantasm and Fortuna jumped onto Crypt's ship. -- BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooom -- And, they were flying, the air whippsing at their faces. Umbra and Fortuna were grinning. They sensed that Crypt was happy, too. Phantasm hung back, but was grinning. They were on the way back to Kitland. --
