Chapter 3: We fight a Cyclops I noticed that the Cyclops was different from how Mom described it. It had one eye and everything but it had more female characteristics. “Here!” Lily shouted. She threw a sword to the air, which I caught in midair. It had an encrypted message which read: ‘Apolorela’. I was stunned. How could I use this? A crazy thought came to my mind. I advanced towards the female Cyclops and slashed the sword to one of her legs. She moaned in pain. I did the same to the other leg. I couldn’t believe myself. So did Lily. “RUN!” She shouted. We both ran, until we finally got to the entrance of the school. “What. Was. That. All. ABOUT!?” I asked Lily. “Just-, just forget this happened.” She looked as if lightning struck her. “Let's talk when school ends.” I didn’t know what to reply, so I just opened the door to the school and walked towards my first class. “What class do you have?” Lily asked, before I could go inside. “Spanish class.” I replied, “With Mr. Bassisk.” “Come with me then.” She said hurriedly. “Wait- what?” But I just followed her to the science elective. When I got inside with Lily, Ms. Star looked at me. “Shouldn’t you be in Mr. Bassisk’s class, Mister. Brooks?” Ms. Star asked. I opened my mouth but Luci cut me in. “Leo told me he wanted to change electives, Ms. Star, so I brought him here.” Ms. Star nodded. “Very well. You may take a seat besides Miss Rose, Mister Brooks.” Lily looked relieved. She grinned at me. I sat down at the empty desk. I felt uncomfortable, because the table was too small for me. I hesitated and knew this was going to be a long day.
