hi. I can’t anymore so here’s a vent. I have this irl friend, let’s call her sage. sage and I have been friends for 4 years, she messaged me ranting, every single time, I would text her a long supporting message back. because I care. she asks me to make drawings for her. I make them. I know she has family problems and depression and I’m trying my best to let her know I genuinely care about her. I really try. it’s summer break now, she’s visiting right? I ask if she’s gonna be at church. she texts back “yeah as if you care” really? really. I’ve done absolutely nothing but care about her. and she even gets jealous when I talk to other people. simply playing Roblox with some random guy, barely saying a WORD. she’s clearly jealous. what am I doing wrong? I know I should be more considerate, but really. hah if I didn’t care I wouldn’t talk to her, I wouldn’t make her problems mine, I wouldn’t be visiting her, wouldn’t bother texting her, wouldn’t write long messages telling her how great she is, wouldn’t laugh with her, wouldn’t stay up till 2 so I could watch a show she wanted me to watch with her, I wouldn’t call her, wouldn’t hug her because she’s crying, wouldn’t draw for her, wouldn’t do role plays with her. nothing. she has the audacity to say I don’t care? really? I swear.. I really can’t anymore. I’m tired of this.
