Hello again! This is the 2nd of my 2 DTAEs so far, and it may make some more sense upon viewing them sequentially. Got quite the burst of motivation this evening, and was able to finish this drawing in one sitting :o Press space or click the drawing to change to the version with highlights. —— 1. About the drawing This was a delight to draw, and I was a bit experimental with it. I took great care in drawing Alma’s hair this time around, and I think it turned out wonderfully. The scar tissue over her eye proved a challenge, but for a first time drawing a scar in any detail, I think it turned out nicely. The highlighted version was *highly* experimental, and I’m not sure I love how the highlights came out, but I suppose it doesn’t look as bad as it could’ve. I’m finding that Alma lends herself so nicely to a little bit of angsty drawing—it’s honestly so much fun. —— 2. Just chatting—unimportant, so feel free to skip. I’m so happy to be back on this platform. It’s bringing me such joy already to have returned to scratch, and I can’t wait to keep sharing my work with everyone here.
