07/09/2024 - new updates - added new molecules - updated alternate names for existing molecules 06/12/2024 - initially shared nomenclature practice ft. absolute abominations of organic molecules two types of questions: 1. you will be shown an important organic molecule and you will be prompted to input its common iupac name 2. you will be shown a substituent group and prompted to provide its name NOTES: - a variety of different answers will be accepted! full names and abbreviations are both okay so go crazy - on that note i attempted to account for every possible name you could give each molecule but i might have missed some, apologies if so - the asterisks on substituent questions symbolize the sp3 carbon that attaches to the parent molecule - found a new condensed way of coding this, worked fine when i tested it but if it gives you any problems feel free to let me know - i coded in an accuracy percentage calculator so you can quantify how well you're doing as you go :) music was chosen by my sister btw (its dream speedrun music lol), slider's for volume so drag it all the way back if you want to mute it TAGS: #chemistry #science #orgo #organicchemistry
