-------------------- ⁀➷ Icy - Update 3 -------------------- We recently moved to a new estate, and all the horses have been keen to investigate their new home. We had Icy and Galaxy in a pasture this morning, and Galaxy was jumping over some logs. Curious, Icy followed behind, and jumped after her. I was happy to see this, as we were told when we bought him that Icy did the same thing with Canal, his mother. After his jump, I came and put a halter on him to lead him to our new wash-bay. I realised how big he had been getting, and he was getting closer to being ready to ride. I hooked him up and hosed him down, washing him and scraping off the excess water. Icy was impressively calm for a foal, even as I picked up his feet and cleaned them, and brushed him down. I got the burs and tangles out of his mane from hours of running around with our other foal, Astra, and finally led him back out to the paddock. For being such a good boy, he got one of his favourite peppermint treats, before running off down the pasture once more. --------------------
