- Application Studio: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/35261772 - Closing Date: June 26th, 2024 - Results: June 27th, 2024 application (continued in notes n credits) Foofyflower4, Sanctum, she/they \ Hello! I’m Sanctum! I shall be applying for this litter today! Some of the things I like are playing my bass, drawing, playing video games, and reading! Humkit is a cute little child and I wish for whoever wins them (hopefully me lol but I won’t mind if someone else wins) to have fun roleplaying them and for them to have a long and happy life.\
Humkit! \ I’ve never had a kit in a litter before, so it would be nice because I’d prefer a character with more of a family and a story to base their experiences off of, and why Humkit specifically? Well, I was just looking for more litters to apply to that don’t close extremely soon, and Humkit’s design is just really cute. It stuck out to me. And I don’t mind having to do a little extra research to win this sweet child. \ I roleplayed in WCUE for a while and joined TFCRP sometime in 2021-2022? I dunno. \ I used to have a character named Dandeliondrift (also in Riverclan, funnily enough) but she wasn’t interesting. I think I made her a little before the boats and oofed her off a little after the boats. / Technically my first, but I applied for a litter that closes before this one, so there’s a chance that they might be my second character. \ Around 50 moons would be good. \ 8/10. Was inactive for a while, but I’m getting better! \ Not often. \ They’ll be a full on lesbian and a femme-leaning non-binary. (They/them, but doesn’t particularly mind the occasional she. Still would prefer they/them tho) \ I don’t know, honestly. I guess I’ll have to see how their life plays out. Might be a medicine cat. \ (+) problem solver, kind, creative, endearing (=) honest (-) Short-tempered, easily bored, reckless, scatterbrained \ Humkit is a genius, breezing through difficult problems with ease, solving them well. They are kind, and their ideas are limitless. Most find themselves liking Humkit and wanting to be friends with her. After all, even if it gets her in trouble a lot, she has a policy of total honesty. However, the little unintentional charmer Humkit doesn’t come without her flaws. Though they are a genius, they get easily bored, moving from one thing to the next, one thing to the next, soon finding themself to have nothing to do at all. Their temper is also like a short fuse on a bomb. If it goes off (which is easy with how short their temper is), the damage is collateral. Their slightly uncalculated behavior when they’re not mad goes to full-on reckless behavior, not really caring for the consequences when their rage is let out. And with how extremely scatterbrained they are, chances are Humkit might take a second to remember what you’re talking about. (Of course, once they remember which outburst, they will apologize profusely.) Also, though cats might admire Humkit’s good side of their personality, their nest is nothing short of an absolute mess. \ (more might be in comments) Humkit was quite bored. They had already played with the mossball. They had already talked with their siblings. They had already talked with Mom and Dad. They had already play-fought with Hootkit. (Hootkit had crushed them in the play-fight.) Humkit had already practiced pouncing on those leaves to ‘get better at hunting’. Humkit looked around the nursery. Nothing to do, nothing to do. So boring. And Humkit didn’t feel like sleeping or running around in circles to get tired enough to sleep. Sleeping was boring. Humkit glanced outside. Maybe… Humkit thought about it, slowly formulating a plan in their mind. Humkit would work out the kinks later, but the general plan was in mind. Humkit would sneak out of the nursery tonight.\ Curled Tail Research: http://messybeast.com/curly-tailed.htm From that article, it seems like the curly tail doesn’t really affect them. Some curly-tailed cats can uncurl their tail, some can’t, but it doesn’t seem to have any bad side effects. Folded Ears Research: https://www.petmd.com/cat/conditions/genetic/osteochondrodysplasia-cats Most of the Osteochondrodysplasia (the genetic disease thing that causes the ears to fold but also causes problems with bones and cartilage) described in the article are quite severe, but the article also states that some cats only have one copy of the gene which causes folded ears, making the symptoms less severe. I am going to assume that they has only one copy of the gene, as none of their siblings have the folded ears they have. They still will most likely develop arthritis at some point, but they’ll be pretty old by that point. They’ll have weird posture, a weird gait, decreased energy (probably will really want to become a medicine cat), decreased joint flexibility, and their tail will be shorter and thicker. (skeletal deformities) \ Sprouts are a good addition to any mushroom soup, but don’t let any clams, books, or frogs get in there or the spirits won’t be too happy. \ (gonna do this in a lil bit of a diff format) voice claim: shibakane from aggretsuko (English dub) They smell vaguely like a champagne toast candle from Bath And Body Works. Their fur is quite neat. The only part of them that is ever messy is their paws, and even then they groom their paws quite often. The only nickname they have is Hum. They never use other people’s nicknames. Humkit usually paces while thinking. One of their theme songs is The Chattering Lack of Common Sense by Ghost and Pals.
