Music challenge entry for OCVC. Information on story and mathematical concept below. Story: -Character is walking in the woods. - Character hears a noise in the bushes. -Character creeps up on the bush. - Bird pops out of the bushes and scares character. -Character realizes it's a bird (not a backdrop but you can hear it in the music). -Continues walking through the woods. Mathematical Concept: Fibonacci Sequence. This piece of music represents the Fibonacci sequence through the entries of each pattern. Each new number (pattern) enters each bar and irrelevant ones disappear. For example: Number 1 pattern goes for 2 bars because there are two 1s at the start of the Fibonacci sequence. After that, Number 1 pattern and Number 2 pattern play for a bar. Then, Number 1 pattern, 2 pattern and 3 pattern play for a bar because 1+2=3. Number patterns 2, 3 and 5 play for one bar because 2+3=5. Then, Number patterns 3, 5 and 8 play for one bar because 3+5=8. This continues until the end of the story.
