WARNING: Very scary game (don't play if you're a baby). Click green flag to run the project. "Start game" option is pretty much the only option in the menu that works, so choose that. You can press X to skip the cutscene at the beginning. Press F for flashlight. Don't get caught by Slenderman. Please don't report the project just because it's a horror game. Thanks, gng.
Credits to all (YouTube to MP3 for downloading sounds I think, YouTube for the source of the sound effects, Parsec Productions for the original game and sounds) Note: This game will probably NEVER be finished Update (6/28/2026): Hey there, this is a pretty old game that was never finished. I haven't worked on it extensively since like a couple years ago, so there's definitely a lot of unfinished content in here. It was originally intended to be a full remake of Slender: The Eight Pages, but I gave up on it around mid-2024. You may notice that the only button that currently works in the menu is the "Start game" option -- which is because I just never bothered to code in the other options. Also, you can only collect one page. I never finished coding in the other pages, and Slenderman's AI is extremely basic. He'll appear after about a minute or so to jumpscare you (only when you collect the first page), which you can easily avoid before he disappears. He does that on repeat, basically. There's also not that many landmarks, as the map itself is unfinished. There's only one landmark (that being the tree in the middle with a page on it), while the rest of the map is basically just an empty plain with trees in the background. You can technically walk off the map without falling -- only because I didn't code the player to be affected by gravity, and because they aren't meant to walk off the map anyway. Honestly, I'm not sure if I'll ever finish this game. Some part of me wants to come back to this, but I'm just not sure if I have the motivation to. But, hey -- never say never, I guess. If for some reason, people REALLY like this (if anybody even sees this), then maybe I'll keep working on it. But for now, it remains as an unfinished project. You're allowed to remix this if you want -- just make sure to credit me. You can add your own stuff, or even just improve upon my original mediocre coding.
