Hunt Seat is a showing discipline where both the horse and rider are judged. There are four jump height divisions with five classes in each: 18", 2', 2'3", and 2'6" each with Warm Up, Hunter Over Fences, Equitation Over Fences, Hunter Under Saddle, and Equitation on the Flat classes. CLASSES - The Warm Up is a jumping course that you go through to warm up your horse. You will not be judged in the Warm Up. If you enter the Warm Up, you will have to pay an additional fee of 4 GE/HS, but it will increase your chances of placing higher in other classes in the division. - Hunter Over Fences is where the horse is judged as they jump a course. - Equitation Over Fences is where the rider is judged as they jump a course. - Hunter Under Saddle is where the horse is judged on the flat (meaning no jumping). All competitors in the subdivision are in the arena at this time. - Equitation on the Flat is where the rider is judged on the flat (meaning no jumping). All competitors in the subdivision are in the arena at this time. - You can enter up to three divisions per rider. - You can enter up to 3 classes per division for free (not including Warm Up). After that, it costs 1 HS/GE per class. HOW TO ENTER - Read the entire description and make sure you fully understand the rules. - You must remix this project to enter. - Mark the classes you want to enter (costs in the description). - You will also find the codeword if you read the description thoroughly! - If you entered only free classes, select "Not applicable" in the currency section. - Include any extra poses on the second backdrop! PERMITTED TACK FOR HUNT SEAT - A helmet and proper riding boots are required. - Regular black or brown English bridles with gentle bits and gentle bitless bridles are permitted. Make sure the bridle fits well. No flashes, drop nosebands, or grackle nosebands are allowed on the bridle. - If you are going bridleless, use a halter and a neck rоpe for safety. - Regular well-fitting black or brown English general purpose/jumping saddles are allowed. No dressage/western saddles are permitted. - A girth is required. - Brown or black English breastplates are allowed. - A regular white fleece-lined hunter pad/numnah is recommended. You can also use a white English saddle pad in any shape. Half pads are also permitted. - Your horse can wear any boots or wraps as long as they are ethical. - Martingales are permitted, but discouraged. STRICTLY BANNED TACK/EQUIPMENT - Spanish nosebands - Insanely leveraged bits and other harsh bits - Insanely leveraged hackamores - Spurs - Whips - Crops if used improperly - Other abusive tack/equipment RIDER/HORSE REQUIREMENTS - The horse must be at least five years old and trained to compete. - The rider must not be too big for the horse. - The rider may be expected to be able to walk, post the trot, sit the trot, and sit the canter depending on their chosen level. - Do not enter a division that is too advanced for either the rider or the horse! RULES - Enter by 2/10/2025! - Stealing ribbons/prizes is obviously not allowed and puts you at risk for a fine. - Remix this project to enter. - You may only enter a maximum of one rider and one horse. - Only three divisions per rider are permitted, but you can enter in any of the classes within your divisions. - Only three classes per division are free. The rest cost 1 GE/HS per class (unless it’s the Warm Up). - The cоdеwоrd is your dream vacation spot. - The Warm Up class costs 4 GE/HS to enter, but it will increase your chances to place higher in other classes in the division. - There are eight spots per class. PLACINGS - The Grand Champion is the person who earned the most points across all divisions. - The Reserve Grand Champion is the person who earned the second most points across all divisions. - Everything else is self-explanatory. - For a better chance to place higher, enter the classes that have the least amount of people in them. PRIZES - Grand Champion: Custom horse with three poses fitted with a custom color jumping tack set and a Grand Champion ribbon - Reserve Grand Champion: Custom horse with two poses fitted with a custom color jumping tack set and a Reserve Grand Champion ribbon - 1st-3rd place in division: Custom horse with one pose fitted with a custom color jumping tack set and a ribbon corresponding to your placement - 4th-8th place in division: Ribbon corresponding to your placement and a custom color jumping tack set fitted to any horse of your choosing - 1st-8th place in class: Ribbon corresponding to your placement - You are almost guaranteed to get a ribbon if you enter!
