Just sort of tap or press space, I've been hit by my turn of the century (1799-1811) sailing obsession again like being raked from stem to stern. So erm, here's all the sketches I've done at school (the end of term is remarkably boring) to help to make me stop wanting to tell absolutely EVERYONE about the difference between a brig-sloop, a brig and a sloop. As well as how to advance from Lieutenant (pronounced Left-tennant) to Master and Commander. *cough* Anyway, enjoy! :)
Credit to @Kite_the_Skywing for colouring the digital drawings, and for helping out with some of the other drawings :) 1- Vive le roi/REVOLUTION- A french revolution propaganda drawing I did on the school whiteboard. 2- After reading a textbook about the French Revolution I drew this. Quality destroyed- "Hey! Have you tried.~*Tax*~.!?" - "It says no door-to-door salesmen." The sign reads; Go away peasants, unless you work for me." but in google translate French. 3- Two sailing OCs, Bill Carpenter, (the coxswain on the HMS Elliot), and Robert Braithwaite, (the first lieutenant on the HMS Elliot) 4- They're in love. 5- Random vive le revolution page. (featuring Pierre and Octave) 6- Octave again- the first sketches I did. "You have never trusted me". 7- Random regency sketches- Daphne and Koda are two that you will see later. 8- Koda and Octave- prior to me redesigning Octave as a revolutionary, he was a French diplomat. "Excuse me, sir, but I am your-" "I'm sorry, sir, but shut yer face if ya wanna keep it. We're surrounded!" 9- Concept and study page :) 10- *Gestures vaguely* Fashion plates from 1802-1805, but they're on my character. 11- Daphne and Lucille. 12- Swishy Octave in the breeze, sitting on absolutely nothing. 13- Pierre with the tricolour (revolutionary) flag. 14- Some random able seaman. No idea who he is, but I really like him. :) 15- Some more random civilian guys. :) 16- Not 1790-1811 here, but 1890s cycling girls- Verity Cane and Eliza Mulbrook :) 17- A random room drawing. 18- Tricorn practice. Just drawing all the hats. (Pierre, Octave, Bill, Robert and Lucille all appear on this page :D) 19- Pierre, Octave and Lucille. 20- The same again, but with Revolution vibes. 21- Emily and her boyfriend Charlie Fairfax, traced over an image of my cousin and another guy for fun. 22- Pierre and Octave, traced over an image of my cousin's friends.
