Here is my modified version of the ‘96 Cresta I made. Backstory: This is my Cresta. I originally had it imported from New Zealand, which was imported from Japan. The car cost about $16,900 NZD ($10,384 USD), then the import cost $3,250 USD. All of this totaled out at $13,284 USD. When the car finally came, I immediately got to work. I started with the mechanical aspect. I started with the basics first, I added a new intake, exhaust, and a new intercooler, then I swapped the 4 speed auto with the 5 speed manual from a chaser in the junkyard. After that, I replaced the old turbo in the 1JZ with a bigger turbo. I proceeded to ad some air suspension and lower the Cresta for a better stance. I also installed an LSD. I changed out the stock rims for 18” Work Emotion T5Rs in White. After that, I installed a bodykit made by Vertex. I also had the bodykit finished in the same stock paint as the car, Toyota 8L4 blue. I kept most of the outside stock, same with the interior, but I replaced the front seats with Bride Zeta IV bucket seats. Sooo… That’s all the mods I’ve done so far, stay tuned for more updates.
no, I do not live anywhere near or in Tarrant County. So don’t think y’all are on to anything, I just thought that the sticker seemed cool. Toyota Me Vertex Bride Work
