Sketches for Winner at what cost? and WTA (also winner's name is Ina ahahaha ;3) (sketches are at the back of the project) (they're colorless btw bc that's how i roll) Ina glanced at the cheering crowd...what to do, what to do? She was the winner of the Death Trials. All her friends were dead- Because of HER. Now, as she stood on the podium, she couldn't bring herself to accept her reward. Sishi, Soba, and Vi were all...dead. Gone. She had killed them with her claws, her will, her eyes staring into theirs as she tossed their limp bodies aside. (woah this is darkkkk) Ina regretted that. The only thing she would win was...guilt. Shame. And a crown. And Ina was supposed to feel ACHIEVEMENT?! She saw red. These murder3rs had killed her family and friends. For an excellent reward (what they said) but she regretted it all. How could she be so foolish? She was a winner...but at what cost? Three butterflies settled on her nose. Sishi, Soba, and Vi, in some fantasy world. She shredded their bodies with her claws. How could they do that? A fake promise of three souls in butterflies? Don't give me hope, she thought. Over and over again. She saw triangles all around her. Teal. Blue. She grasped at them, praying- hoping- they would give her some hope for something. Maybe she could bring her friends and family back, But instead, the triangles cut her paw pads. She flinched, red seeping down her arm, but didn’t move. The ‘500’ around her medal vibrated. “Would you like your friends back? The triangles can help.” Ina flinched. “Is water wet? Of course I want them back!” “Then if you trust me, pierce your ear with the triangle.” Ina fumbled with the triangle. Sure, she might distrust this…weird medal, but she desperately wanted to apologize. And see them again. To say goodbye, one last time, or better yet, be with them for more time. Ina blacked out after noticing the red sting in her ear. She stood up shakily, her fur now a fiery tint, a crown floating next to her, triangles dancing around her pelt. If this was what being a winner was like, she wasn’t sure she…enjoyed it. And there they were. Sishi, Soba, and Vi. Floating, transparent, in front of her. “Ina,” Sishi said coldly. “Guys, I can-I can explain,” Ina stammered. Vi glared. “For what, killing us for one stupid crown and some triangles that allowed you to visit us?!” “I regretted it later, okay?” “Well maybe you should’ve tried NOT KILLING US!” Soba yelled. “I’m sorry, guys…I will always be so sorry.” “Sorry don’t feed the dead.” Ina flinched, her hair standing on end. Her paws were hardening, her triangles rising into the air, her eyes narrowing as she fit into some pose forevermore, stuck like that. Genuine concern spread on Sishi’s face. “Are you okay, Ina?” She couldn’t respond. Her mouth was frozen in a serious line. She blinked in Morse code, she tried to speak through her eyes which were still unfrozen, and Vi could sense the panic on Ina’s face. She turned her back. It served her right. She couldn’t move, or breathe, only blink sadly. She didn’t actually need to breathe. She couldn’t sleep, she was stuck with how her friends turned her away. A stray triangle whispered in her ear. “Foolish.” And she was. Three weeks later, the guilt broke Ina. Forever. (haha this sketch and wtae sucked more than I thought it would) (Haha lolll the sketches are after winner. Number 1 is ina. Number 2 is Issa.)
Sketches for Not Clickbait?! (also clickbait's name is Issa) (sketches are at the back of the project) Issa always loved collecting flowers. She would return home from the orchard, hands stinging and bleeding, holding lots of rose petals and smiling happily. One day she was in the orchard, when an eEeErie mist surrounded it. The Rose Spirit. It grinned at Issa. "Achievement unlocked, you've plucked a thousand petals." Issa stumbled back, dropping the petals on the ground, then scrambling to pick them up, savoring the silky, velvety feel. Leaves swirled around her and the Spirit, a tornado of green, spiraling, spinning, and when Issa touched it, it ceased. "Leaving already? You still need to wish." Issa froze. "O...kay?" "One wish." Issa loved the flowers. So much. "I wish I could collect roses forever." The Spirit smiled. "Good answer." "Now you'll be the new Spirit- just like me, you're bound to this orchard, doomed to pick forever...until someone comes again and wishes." Issa panicked, and tried to run, but she hit an invisible barrier at the end of the orchard. The Rose Spirit departed. So Issa waited to be set free. Issa waited, for millions of years. She saw the sun explode and the stars all fade. She saw the dawn of time and the end of it. She saw everything. Yet nobody came to pick her roses. Discouraged and disheartened, Issa's spirit caused the orchard to cease to bloom forevermore. Perhaps you should go into an orchard of roses soon. Who knows what you'll find? (again, the sketches didn't turn out very well, but I had the story planned as soon as I looked at my babygirl)
