(SPOILERS FOR MOST OF THE BOOKS!) Hi there! These are some of my most controversial Maze Runner opinions! These are just opinions, so if you don't agree with any of them, just don't say anything!! ❤ ✧･ﾟ: *✧･ﾟ:* → 1. Teresa deserved to die. Why? She tortured Minho nearly to death. She worked willingly with WCKD. She knew what WCKD was doing to the world and chose to stay. Don't come after me saying she was "doing it for the good of humanity". She wasn't. Also she's just ANNOYING. I don't get what Tommy saw in her. Newt was 100× better -_- → 2. It's not Brenda or Tommy's fault that Newt died. "If Brenda had been faster he'd still be alive!" No. It sucks, and I love Newt with all my heart, but he was infected. He probably would've died, with or without Brenda getting to him in time with the cure. Its not Tommy's fault either. Newt asked Tommy to kill him. "But he was infected! He wasn't himself!" Read the book. It says he used the last bit of his sanity to ask Tommy to end his suffering. It was hard for Tommy and even harder for us as readers. :( → 3. Minho's trauma is overlooked. He deserves his own book. Poor baby was cornered by a Griever in The Fever Code and tortured by someone he thought was a friend (as much as he hates Teresa) in The Death Cure. If you read that the Fever Code, it says Minho basically just became a shell of his former self after being locked up with that Griever. I'm gonna cry just thinking about it. Poor baby :( → 4. Aris is annoying. (help Aris keeps autocorrecting to arms-) → 5. Newtmas is real. This isn't even controversial. Its not even an opinion. Dashner himself has said that Newtmas was supposed to be the main romance when the books first came out, but he changed it to the Tommy x Brenda x Teresa love triangle because he he thought "a gay book couple wouldn't sell as much". Oh, Dashner, if only you knew how much it would've sold anyway... → 6. If Newt was completely out of the picture, not only would the Gladers be dead but Tommy would have ended up with Brenda anyway. Even if Teresa hadn't died, Brenda would've been the obvious choice for Tommy. → 7. Please don't hate on Kaya Scodelario, the actress that plays Teresa. Hate the character, not the actor. ✧･ﾟ: *✧･ﾟ:* That's all! I haven't read The Kill Order or any of The Maze Cutter books (my library doesn't have them, I don't have time to go to the bookstore and my friend is gatekeeping her copies -_-), so please don't spoil or mention those in the comments of this project or any other Maze Runners related ones!!
