hihi pookies back with another piece of garbage this is waaaay more tame than the last song I posted, theres absolutely nothing dark here. there is a story so try and find it out or something —— camping trip a sixteen hour car ride through no man’s land a whistle and a nap and the dog is yapping in the back cedar and pine for miles and miles past the 35 mile marker rain and bloom in the morning we arrive pitch a tent in the far side by the creek where the owls go to sleep and the bugs are ever awake a praying mantis ladybugs birds from tree to tree cardinals and sparrows calling ice capped peaks are whispering my name to me like a distant memory campfires smell like ash and smoke it exhilarates my lungs my brain is burning along too smores and laughing Loch Ness monsters and storytelling wondering how could i scare you too point the flashlight and set the mood foxes speaking through the night wolves howling and singing brings fright a blanket hides my face feathered pillows placed on a mattress in a tent in the woods. daytime comes early fishing you just dared me to take a dip in the lake and i said no way and so you pushed me in the shallow end. soaked i dragged you in too. nighttime came and we were shivering as the owls “who” bat bites and long hikes and star charting wildberries, yew. poison taints the dusk turning it green and blue take a picture it lasts longer i say to you. and the last day as the sun rose we could have watched it rise. packed our things and said goodbye. i wish i could take my time next time we would come but looks like that won’t be happening anytime soon. sixteen hour car rides back through no man’s land open skies turn gray and blue rainy weather turns the mood to gloom.. i remember the smile on your face as we left maybe you were reminded of the pain we would face going back. cause your eyes glossed over.. i wished i could comfort you but a crash would prolly’ ensue. camping trips to the woods always made this sorta temper.. —— “that’s all there is, there isn’t any more” :3 rate 1/10 pookems
