Citizens' Defense Service Training (Обучение cлужбе гражданской обороны) is a military discipline training service provided by the Catonya Defense Forces. Mandatory for high school students, the program aims to instill the military values of discipline, loyalty, and leadership, as well as community service and military survival skills. Students will learn these skills, and develop military discipline and finesse through the performance of drills and ceremonies, and demonstration of learned skills. The cadet unit of the school will be governed by students who themselves have gone through special training to attain the ranks of officers and staff. The different units include Ground Force Cadets and Air Combat Cadets, managed under the Ground Combat Force and Air Defense Force, respectively. Those who graduate from the program, depending on their rank and achievements, will be offered incentives and benefits for service in the Defense Forces. The program is managed by reservist components of the respective branch of service.
Program was rolled out to some schools in the summer of 2024. The first training event for the future officers and staff was initiated then, with both the Staff Leadership Training and Base Encampment Training taking place within June, 2024.
