౨ৎ Picking up Lotus! I went to pick up Lotus from his pasture, and as I approached, Amaro looked confused and started following us. Despite his efforts, Amaro couldn't catch up, his confused whinnies echoing softly. Catching Lotus was a gentle experience; he walked right up to me, his soft eyes full of trust, and leaned his head towards the halter as if he was ready to go. On our way to the arena, a bird suddenly flew out of a nearby bush, startling Lotus. He spooked, his muscles tensing, and we both jumped, but thankfully, neither of us got hurt. I patted his neck to calm him, and he quickly settled down. When it came time to load him into the trailer, Lotus was amazing. He walked right in, his hooves clattering softly on the ramp, without backing up or causing any trouble. He was so peaceful, standing quietly as I secured him, his calm demeanor a testament to his trust in me. When arriving at my stables, I led Lotus to the paddock. The moment I unclipped the lead rope, he cantered away, his mane flowing in the wind, a beautiful sight against the backdrop of his new home. His graceful movements and the way he explored his surroundings made my heart swell with happiness, knowing he was now part of our family.
