hello there! following the trend of answering kenzie's swc-er questions <3 q - nickname? a - i'm finley, though many call me fini or fins too! q - first session? a - november 2021! q - favourite session? a - mystery in november 2023 was definitely a favourite. i was grateful to have the best co-leaders ever (mabel and clev <3), and i overall did some great writing this session! q - least favourite session? a - november 2021! while i signed up, i did not participate at all </3 q - favourite cabin? a - ooh this is hard :0 i loved fae's lit-fi, zai's thriller, birdi's tctwnw and sun's steampunk! q - have you ever been a (co)leader? a - yes bhwhaha - five times, actually! q - what was your favorite cabin you've (co)led? a - mystery mansion is a definite! the overall planning experience and camper bonding was incredible. q - someone you admire in swc? a - in all truth, i look up to the entire swc community. all of us are so unique, and each one of them have brought so much joy into my life. if i have to name a few, i admire alana (amazing apps and the friendliest leader), mabel (warm and an outstanding storyline plotter) alia (writing goddess), summer (literally the best friend), moss (a brilliant leader and artist) and luna (super sweet and an incredible host) <3 q - favourite swc inside joke? a - goats and frying pans!! q - which cabins have you been in? a - myth, script, horror, non-fi, poetry, mystery, sci-fi q - what was the account you used for your first swc session? a - @EmmaAnimator, i believe. q - favourite daily? a - the victorian flower daily! q - favourite writing comp entry you've read? a - fae's 'the sun is chained' or alia's 'star strings'! q - favourite weekly? a - suswc was so cool :0 q - favourite in-cabin activity? a - daily check-ins are literally so fun, and i love reading the responses ahah ;D q - what advice would you give to new swcers? a - no matter how you are, there is a place for you here. just be yourself, forge bonds and write your heart out <3 there's no community like swc, have a blast in it! q - favourite application idea you've seen? a - reese's this is me and moonlit's art of storytelling! q - what inspired you to join swc? a - writing is my love, and a camp centered around that would interact any aspiring writer <3 q - your favourite piece you've written in swc? a - i'm quite proud of my writing competition entry last session, when the sky was blue! q - a suggestion for swc? a - i would like to see a return of the megasession! i loved the tight-knitted cabins in july 2023's megasession, and regardless of the camper amount, it was nice to bond with a smaller cabin :) q - what you like best about a cabin? a - an interesting storyline and friendly leaders make all the difference! q - favourite word wars prompt? a - ""in the presence of ghosts, there was only one thing to do..." q - favourite thing about the swc community? a - everyone's so friendly and welcoming! the entire vibe of the swc community is so magical, and i find myself ranting in the main cabin more than i ever will irl! q - if you were a swc host for a day, what would you implement or change? a - nothing!! swc is perfect, just the way it is. the beauty of swc lies in its community, and that will always continue to grow <3 q - favourite thing about being a (co)leader? a - planning before the session! it's just so fun to create a cabin of your own :0 q - would you like to be a swc host someday? a - sure!! swc has always been a special place for me, and being an swc tryant would be incredible. q - what does swc stand for? a - silly willy caterpillars :> q - give me a daily idea. a - write a workshop on any writing topic you're curious / uncertain about! q - a goal for the next swc session? a - bond with non-fi campers and complete all dailies! q - favourite swc memory? a - ethel offering me to co-lead horror was one of the most ecstatic moments of my life. q - do you procrastinate, have an abnormal sleep schedule, and/or an obsession with taylor swift? a - yes, no, and yes! q - favorite nickname you've seen in swc? a - i really like viara, and alia's pretty too! q - what you're favourite swc cult? a - the frying pan cult! :star_struck: q - have you ever stayed up late for swc? a - a few times, during cabin wars and when i had to complete my leader application! q - what's your favourite part of a swc session? a - cabin wars :zany_face: q - what's a song that describes SWC or a cabin you've been in? a - i feel like soldier, poet, king potrays myth march '22! q - have you convinced an irl friend to join swc yet? a - i introduced my friend to swc, but she declined claiming its on a kid website :skull: q - have you ever pulled an all-nighter for cabin wars? a - i have slept pretty late on cabin wars, but have never successfully pulled an all-nighter. q - do you have any swc merch irl? a - i wish, but no </3
q - favourite swc session theme? a - lotr was amazing last session! q - favourite swc mascot? a - tough choice between gurtle and smarlls :0 q - what's something weird you've done that SWC made you do? a - jump erratically in front of my parents (a dare by voilet) q - do you like being a honorary, camper, co-leader, leader, or host? a - leader!! its incredibly fun to create a cabin and invite campers before the session <3 q - favorite SWC sibling/ally/neutral/enemy group you've seen? a - the mythological adventure of lyrical poetry! (aka the betraying siblings) q - if you could meet one swc-er irl, who would it be? a - meeting any swc-er would be simply too good for words! i would love to have someone to be chaotic about swc with - though nat, summer or mabel would be especially cool <3 q - and finally, did you like this? a - yes! answering these questions made me so nostalgic, and was a great way to pass time on a boring sunday afternoon!
