The Proyoyo Bronze is one of the largest in the 1998 Proyoyo lineup, measuring at approximately 4550mm. It competed with cars such as the Peugeot 406, Mercedes C Class and Audi A4. It was sized slightly above the E46 3 series on purpose, catering towards a more conservative and practical owner. Looks wise it is dull but not ugly, with very few design features bar the jellymould shape. Teardrop headlights are echoed in the taillights and there is an attempt at creating an interesting design in the side body moulding, however it is not very successful. Interior wise, cloth was standard on all models, with slight bolster support being a selling point. They were reasonably comfy, especially for front passengers. Rear passengers got decent leg room, but seats were quite hard and did not split or fold. This compromised rear luggage space however meant that seat-up boot space could be 2 inches deeper. In Japan, the UK and overseas, the Bronze was a popular taxi. High mileage is super achievable on all engine options, with frequent servicing, and many say that the Bronze will last forever. Surprisingly for a Japanese car of the vintage, rust is not a problem either. The only real problem comes in the form of ego - even wearing the coolest modern fashion you will still look incredibly dull stepping out of this motor. Colours were pretty generic, but there were some nice red and blue options. Most people picked the silver or dark blue. This was a big seller for Proyoyo in Eastern Europe, Asia, and North America. Canadian and Asian markets were even offered 4WD (this is a very rare spec now though). Champagne gold models were available too however I didn't want the project to get banned for being too dull.
