[DISCLAIMER: this is kind of a scary game. It's definitely not terrifying/horrifying, as everything in it fits within the community guidelines (https://scratch.mit.edu/community_guidelines), and the scariest part of the game (jumpscares) has an option to be turned off. So please don't report it--everything in it is allowed on scratch.] (THIS GAME IS MOBILE FRIENDLY) Welcome to your new job as a security guard at Carl F. Cheesecurl's Food and Funtime! In my new game, (which is probably one of my last on scratch) you'll be attempting to survive the night, preventing various enemies (animatronics or not) from reaching your office and ending your game! A couple tips to help you get through the night: -You'll be staying in an office in the southeast corner of the building. To look at other areas of the building, and monitor the animatronics/enemies, move your mouse to the right until a blue bar appears. Hovering over this will cause the cameras to appear. -Remember to check Camera 8 every so often and see how much charge is left in the power cylinder (you can charge it up on this camera)...otherwise a strange enemy will have the opportunity to get you... -If an animatronic gets into your room, the only way to reliably get them out is to put the mask on for a bit. Beware spending too much time in the cameras or the mask, else an enemy sneaks up on you! -Putting on the mask is the same as with the cameras, but the bar is on the bottom, and it's orange. -There are a couple of visual and auditory glitches I'm working on fixing, so please excuse those. -Don't, under ANY circumstances, relax and just kinda hang out. If you want to win, you're gonna have to be knowing EXACTLY where every animatronic is at all times. This is a very hard game--there's your warning. It's gonna take a few tries if you want to win. -Finally, have fun! (even if it's stressful fun lol). I put a lot of work into this game--and so if you loved the game, leave a heart, star, and a comment, and if you hated it, leave nothing at all! So get ready, put yourself on alert, and enjoy your new job! Tags: #all 's
If you couldn't tell, this game took most of its mechanics from a specific game series developed by a man named Scott...and so, I give A LOT of credit, if not all of it, to the inspiration acquired there, especially from the second game. Another thing "if you couldn't tell," a lot of inspiration was also taken from @sodaknight and his series of Night Guard Specialist games, which I'll link below. HUGE thanks to him and those games, which (if you enjoyed this one) I HIGHLY recommend checking out. Remember, even if I did take inspiration from those two game series, 100%, ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of the code and art in the game was created by me. All of the music and sounds come from Pixabay, excepting the jumpscare sounds, which come from the sixth game of the aforementioned game series by a man named Scott. Lastly, thanks to you, the person reading this, for taking a look at my game! I put a TON of work into this, and it means a lot to me that you chose to be here of all places, and if you liked the game, feel free to heart/star. NOTE: I told my brother that if this gets above 500 views (which I highly doubt it will), I'd make a second night. So uhhhh, I guess if you wanna see that, tell your friends! Links to the Night Guard Specialist games: (if you liked my game, I'm sure you'd love these, especially the third one): NGS 1: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/639345447/ (The original NGS 1 was taken down, this is a remix) NGS 2: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/634018573/ NGS 3: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/638719079 PATCH NOTES: v1.0.1- made some visual changes to the sprites in the game v1.0.2- fixed major glitches that sometimes caused enemies to just not move, finally fully finished the game lol v1.0.3- more major fixes to visual and audio glitches throughout the game, tweaked difficulty a bit to be harder in some areas and easier in others
