───── ✴ ───── ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ───── meet whiptailpaw ⠀⠀⠀──── ↷ reference : https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1009632695 whiptailpaw strongly believes in intellect over strength, and will encourage his kits to educate themselves. since most of them will likely be warriors, he'll likely have a difficult time relating to them in a sense of duty. he'll teach them basic herbs and their uses to ensure they know how to use such medicines. the kits can refer to whiptailpaw however they like. if they end up referring to him as 'dad', 'papa', ect. he'll have a bit of a freak out, as he isn't used to fatherhood. he'll give the kits their own individual nicknames, as well as basic affectionate terms such as 'little one', 'kiddo', ect. basic parenting style ⠀⠀⠀──── whiptailpaw is a fairly relaxed and confident feline. however in the first few moons of their lives, he'll be extremely high-strung. he'll be strict with the kits, and will struggle to be more loving than a friend. as he gets used to being a father, he'll relax quite a bit. he will definitely ask his friends and his mentor for help with raising kits. he'd prefer if his kits weren't around cats he'd never spoken to or doesn't trust. although whiptailpaw loves adventures, he won't allow the kits on any before apprenticeship. he'll keep a very close eye on them as kits, but for the most part will let them do their own thing. family is extremely important to whiptailpaw, especially since his disastrous upbringing. he'll make sure his kits feel loved by him and their surrogate mother, despite her not being present in their lives. whiptailpaw will insist on the kits meeting his friends and those important in his life. he will teach his kits to be kind and friendly, but to not let someone speak poorly of you. whiptailpaw will tell lots of stories of his adventures and any cats he meets. he'll also describe his family, and will make up stories for them as well. he's not a great storyteller, however, and will for the most part use games as a form of entertainment. their lives ⠀⠀⠀──── their upbringing is a unique one to say the least. until they are 2 moons old, they will be loners with whiptailpaw. at three moons, they will begin a journey back to coniferousclan. at four moons, they will arrive in the territory. whiptailpaw will have his doubts about introducing them to the clan, and will keep them in the herb garden for a bit. during the next two moons, he will provide for them the best he can. sometime during this period, jaguarspring will find them. whiptailpaw and the kits will return to the clan with his mentor. their mother ⠀⠀⠀──── her name was cardinal. she was a medium-furred she-cat who mostly resembled her namesake. she was blind, but with the most beautiful golden eyes. she died during birth. and yes, she is a surrogate mother. whiptailpaw liked her as a friend. try to refrain from asking about her irp for the most part, she is not present in the kit's lives. small implications or questions can be asked. during the first roleplay, it will really be the aftermath of the birth. cardinal will be dead and whiptailpaw will have buried her. likely it'll just be the naming roleplay and first interactions. other cats ⠀⠀⠀──── surely it won't just be whiptailpaw who can see them! this is a list of all the cats he trusts to be around his kits. ⊱ jaguarspring - ⊱ ravensolstice - ⊱ foxwhisper - ⊱ roserivulet - ⊱ raspberrypaw - ⊱ olivenose - ⊱ etherealstar (depends on the circumstances) - whiptailpaw would rather if the kits didn't speak to anyone he has no knowledge on. they can speak to most of his friend's friends. really the only cat he'll want them to avoid (but still respect) is serpentslither. views ⠀⠀⠀──── ⊱ the tree spirits whiptailpaw believes in the tree spirits, though he doesn't believe they're super powerful all-knowing beings. he respects them quite a lot. he won't let any of his kits climb on trees, not even dead ones, unless their life is at risk. ⊱ the warrior code whiptailpaw has mixed emotions about the code. a lot of it is good and reasonable. but one rule always rubbed him the wrong way- to defend your borders. it always just caused more trouble than if it had been left alone. he'll teach his kits to respect and honour the code, even the parts he doesn't particularly agree with. ⊱ deciduousclan, loners, cherry grove, and kittypets whiptailpaw doesn't mind deciduousclan, as long as they aren't causing trouble. he'll teach his kits to respect the other clan, but not to tangle with them. he'll encourage them to talk to members of the other clan at gatherings, but warn them not to get too close to such cats. whiptailpaw has similar feelings for loners as he does with deciduousclan. he'll encourage his kits to be wary of outsiders, but to also interact with them. an outside perspective is helpful. continued in notes and credits
whiptailpaw hasn't met anyone from cherry grove yet, so he doesn't know what to think of them. he supposes they're a little weird, but since they haven't caused any trouble so far, he doesn't really care. he won't encourage his kits to see them, but he doesn't mind if they meet. whiptailpaw does not like kittypets. they like- some even worship -twolegs. such twolegs that hurt the trees. by supporting twolegs, kittypets support the harm of trees. his kits will be heavily discouraged to interact with them. go ahead and ask if you have any questions about this ! miscellaneous ⠀⠀⠀──── ⊱ barn-owlkit and kingsnakekit are named after not only their appearances, but whiptailpaw's favourite bird and reptile ⊱ winterberrykit is named after raspberrykit ⊱ corvidkit is named after the crow that's been following whiptailpaw ⊱ nicknames whiptailpaw will use for barn-owlkit include barn, arnie, and owl ⊱ nicknames whiptailpaw will use for kingsnakekit include king, snakle, and princess ⊱ nicknames whiptailpaw will use for winterberrykit include winter, win(nie), berry, and bear ⊱ nicknames whiptailpaw will use for corvidkit include corv, vi, violet, and birdie credits ⠀⠀⠀──── ⊱ elevator jam ost from roblox doors ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ───── back to litter project: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1041021625/ ───── ✴ ─────
