As a Pakeha, I love Maori culture. I've been experiencing the tradition throughout my life, practising Kapa Haka, learning Maori games, hearing about such beautiful and natural myths and representing different schools by performing the Haka age by age. It plays a big part in my nostalgia and I continue to embrace the culture after it has delightfully taken place in my life.
Pakipaki to Patea Maori Club for their masterpiece: Poi E To Scratch: These marks (Moko) on the mouth are to proudly represent Maori culture, they're not casual tattoos. (In fact, we in the project are not wearing real Moko, this is drawn by a certain marker to make it age appropriate and not stay on forever.) Pls search up Matariki if ur curious about it cuz ur knowledge about it would be way faster than asking me about it while Google exists
