In Life RP, you will eventually have a dead cat. These are the ways that your OC could die: ▻ Death by old age at 110 moons (26 weeks) ▻ Death by weather events ▻ Death by predator attack ▻ Death by illness ▻ Death by wounds DEATH BY OLD AGE When you die of old age, you will be 110 moons and will have lived through all the different stages of a cat's life. This will happen at 26 weeks of roleplaying with that OC. ___________________________________________ DEATH BY WEATHER EVENTS Each season has its own different weather possibilities. Each week the weather will change Green-leaf = sunny, sunny, windy, stormy Leaf-fall = sunny, windy, windy, rainy Leaf-bare = rainy, windy, snowy, cloudy New-leaf = sunny, cloudy, foggy, windy These weather events are pretty much just to that the RP is more realistic, but then there are the major weather events that can threaten a cats life. These events do not apply to kits and elders as they rarely leave camp. Every week there is a spinner for if there will or will not be a major weather event. There is a 20% chance of a major weather event, and a 5% chance of a natural disaster. If there is a major weather event, no cats will die, but there will be a drop in the amount of prey and therefore the livability of the clan. If there is a natural disaster, three cats will be chosen at random to die. ___________________________________________ DEATH BY PREDATOR ATTACK Every week, I will spin a spinner to see if there will be a predator attack. If there is, I will then spin another spinner to see which cats will be injured or die. ▻ There is a 5% chance of a predator attack ▻ There is a 5% chance that you will die from a predator attack once one happens ▻ There is a 15% chance that you will be injured from a predator attack once one happens ___________________________________________ DEATH BY ILLNESS Every week, I will spin a spinner to see if there will be an illness outbreak. There is a 10% chance that there will be an illness outbreak. When there is an illness outbreak, there is a 10% chance that a cat will get sick. Stages of Illness: ▻First Stage: A very minor injury like a splinter or a small cut ▻Second stage: A minor injury like a cut or a graze ▻Third stage: A slightly major injury like a sprain or a deep cut ▻Fourth stage: A major injury like a minor break, an infected wound, or a deep bleeding cut ▻Fifth stage: A very major injury like a major break, a very infected wound, or a concussion. This could leave you with a permanent disability. If you get sick, and don't RP with a med cat you have... 60% chance of getting one stage WORSE 30% chance of getting one stage BETTER 10% chance it will stay the same If you get sick, and RP with a med cat you have... 60% chance of getting one stage BETTER 30% chance of getting one stage WORSE 10% chance it will stay the same ___________________________________________ DEATH BY WOUNDS Death by wounds is similar to illness. When you get a significant injury like a semi-deep gash, a sprain, a break etc you need to report it on this project and will be given a number at which your injury is. E.G. stage 3, stage 1. If you get injured, and don't RP with a med cat you have... 60% chance of getting one stage WORSE 30% chance of getting one stage BETTER 10% chance it will stay the same If you get injured, and RP with a med cat you have... 60% chance of getting one stage BETTER 30% chance of getting one stage WORSE 10% chance it will stay the same ___________________________________________ OTHER WAYS ▻If your cat eats deathberries they have a 95% chance of death ▻If your cat gets run over by a twoleg monster they have a 90% chance of death ▻If a kit leaves camp, they have a 60% chance of death ▻If you want to join another clan there is a 20% chance of death
