hello! - i have an extracurricular art class, and thats where i did all these pieces !! by myself- i could never :'D these are in order from oldest to most recent !! - so, for the samples, my teacher had all these card-like things with watercolor pieces on them that his students could use as references. all these little cards had pictures that WERE ALREADY in paint-form so students knew what kind of... 'methods (yk?)' to use. - 1. this was my very first watercolor in my art class !! all the other water colors ive done before then are for school and such. (and before i actually started learning how to actually paint watercolors, i thought i was terrible at it :C its actually really hard to paint watercolors because everything. goes. everywhere. and for some reason in that art class i always paint/draw better? like i dont think this makes sense- but if i attempted to paint this by myself it would look horrific) this is like a little brick house by a lake i think? it could be a river- i messed up the water and the windows on the house :C and the trees just look iffy. 2. this is my second ever watercolor pieceee !! this is a still life !! the jar is tilted and its killing me asdfghjlkl but the like painting and err the jar in general (idk how to describe this?) i loveee :DD the apple looks goofy. the paint kept on bleeding out of the lemon, and thats why the area around it is so yellow- this piece is just wonky 3. BY FAR ONE OF MY FAVORITEEEEEEEEEEEES I LOVE THIS ONE SO MUCHHH i think this is a scene in venice? ive always wanted to visit venice so the water is just so yummy like how else do i say this it just looks SO YUMMYYYY i love the background where its like kind of foggy and mixed upp (my teacher did that & taught me how to make it like that and im THRILLED HOW IT TURNED OUT ASFGKJSLSJD) 4. this ones just so nostalgic- its giving the holdovers OMG ITS GIVING FANTASTIC BEASTS 1 (that movie is just nostalgic for me :o i used to watch it all the time with my parents :')) its just so winteryyy i lovee i used to live in a more northern state where it snowed a lot and it (at least people say) its very historic so the little fortress is giving that the windows i love theyre just so white and highlighted ahdfudnc the shadows are thickk and the rails at the more bottom part kind of bled into the ice/water it reminds me a lot of where i used to live so its just sort of a special piece :') and also it gives fantastic beasts 1 so nostalgia from that too just a very nostalgic piece for mee :') 5. love this onee <3 its just nice and simple and what more need be said. its a beach scene, obv- it looks slanted in the picture whyyy i promise its not like that irl ;-; i didnt really get how to make the clouds with that rough edge at first, so thats why its a bit off in some spots the beach is the perfect color asdfghjhls bro in the corner why does my finger look painted too 6. soooo eheheh definetly not one of my favorites- this time i actually used a photograph as a reference? so it was harder to figure out how to make the painting resemble the photo HONESTLY THERE ARE JUST SO MANY PAINT STAINS THAT IM GONNA HURL ITS AHHHHDHGHH its just kinda ew and the shading on the left trees ew and my teacher went to the point to paint it again after to show me how i was supposed to paint it so you know i did smth wrong cries 7. ADBBNREOINWONOWOI THIS ONE IS JUST GORGEOUSSSS i also painted this one with a photo as a reference and i did SO MUCH BETTER AHH the lighting is just so gorgeouss i did mess up the shadows in the water for the trees in the background- theyre just so thiccc BUT OTHERWISE ITS JUST SOO ASFHFGNLSNFKGRIGVIEIV framing this one 100% this one is my latest painting and im so prouddd - yesss so thats itt byee !!
