READ THIS, I KNOW ITS LONG BUT THERES SOME IMPORTANT INFO IN HERE. Big Announcements okay so 1st) I’ve joined the tales of perfect heart (animated) team. I’ll make a separate project about it closer to Canada Day but I’m just stoked about it 2) I am in fact listening to the haters that think my art sucks/is mediocre. I’m placing THP on hold until further notice (it will continue eventually, dw) but it’s just… I don’t know. I’m kinda at a place where I don’t think my art’s bad but I’m also not satisfied with it. Like, it’s a comic. Obviously you won’t be seeing fully rendered, anatomically perfect drawings every panel, but at the same time… I feel like I could do better. The backgrounds need work and I could very well add shading and lighting. So, I’m gonna focus on my style for a bit and improve before making the next chapter. I’ve been kinda scared to do so because of another creepy comment I received (iykyk) but I’m moving past it, so yay me! Clarification stuff; 1. I know in previous chapters Wraith said she was an Icewing/rainwing hybrid. This is not a typo. She was wrong. I understand that’s confusing but it’ll be explained later on in the story. I’m just saying this now because I don’t want to have to clarify this 8 times in the comments. 2. Other dragons can hear the prophecy. It’s like talking on your sleep. Excuse Vaunt’s lacklustre reaction to it but he’s lame and nobody likes him. 3. Sizing/other issues……. Yeah, hummingbird looks tiny/inconsistent as hell. This is my bad. She’s a young character and everyone else in the scene is at least PART Nightwing (a tribe I HC to be physically large) so she looks real real real tiny. Also Vaunt is big. Like, he’s one of the tallest characters in the series. He looked average height next to frostbreath because again personal tribe size headcanons. Also I know I forgot his earring on some panels I’m sorry. 4. Prophecy. (Transcript because it might be hard to see) Those who guard the days of old Those with stories yet untold A continent enveloped by the wings of fire and sin Only saved by the darkness, death, and fervor within These shall bring the light of a world anew A destiny buried deeply for none to view Wings of night must go with you Betrayal shadows the shadow that crafts its ploy Looking last at heritage for they seek to destroy 5) If ya’ll wanna drop some prophecy theories down below that’s chill though. Some of it will be revealed later and it’ll make sense but there’s some lines that could be deciphered now! Behind every wof/warriors comic prophecy, there’s an artist cringing and banging their head against the wall. And that’s it!
