So XFTL: SR has been progressing... slowly. I've run out of ideas. And I'm only on Alpha 0.5b. Also... The current game framework is really boring. Single screen gameplay. (With torus-style EdgeWrapping™) Just two enemy types. (one of which is an asteroid) So, I'm going to rebuild the game from the ground up with a scrolling "open world" space environment, which allows for exploration, space stations, and gigantic screen-filling capital ship enemies. Ambitious, I know. But better than not ambitious enough. Perhaps soon I'll make a project showcasing the new design.
