Asian Elephants are very beautiful creatures, and many hunters only hunt them for their tusks. Elephant tusks are made of ivory, which is a very rare material. Though because of this, many elephants have become endangered, and some, such as the African Forest Elephant and African Savanna Elephant, have become critically endangered. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- FACTS: ~Asian Elephants can eat up to 150 kilograms each day ~There are only about 50,000 Asian Elephants left in the wild ~Asian Elephants sleep for 4 hours each day ~Asian Elephants can live up to 60 years in the wild and 80 in captivity *This is probably the longest description I've ever written*
