Q1: What do you like drawing the most? Humans :) Q2: Preferred: digital or traditional art? I like digital more because it's easier to color and it's cleaner but my traditional art looks better. Q3: What is your favorite tool for traditional art, and why? (eg. ballpoint pen, HB2 pencil, random crayon) I use a 0.9 mechanical pencil and I like it b/c it's chonky and easy to erase. Q4: Crayons, markers, or colored pencils, and why? Markers because they're smoother looking without having to crunch the thingy mabopper like with crayons and colored pencils Q5: How would you describe your style (semi-realism, anime-style, realism)? Anime ^^ Q6: What are you the best at drawing? Humans but I'm still not super good at drawing them so :P Q7: Do you use the Scratch editor or another medium for art? I use Procreate and paper Q8: How long does an average drawing take you? Traditional normally no longer than an hour but with digital it's normally from 1hr 30 mins to 2 hrs 40 mins Q9: Have you ever done a DTIYS, a DMC, or a DTA? Yeah, I love them!! Q10: What do you draw the most of, and why? Humans because I'm good at it and I like drawing them and also the characters from my favorite games and books are human so yh Q11: What are the most difficult things for you to draw with people, and how do you get around them? Fullbodies are really hard because of the proportions and I get around the by doing halfbodies, busts, and loose clothing (on traditional art) Q12: What artists have inspired you, and why? @genshinmidngl @luckylittleprincess @ssolitude @jelly_yuh @haveun @puddinf they inspire me b/c most of them are around my age (i think?) and their art is ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ and it motivates me to GET BETTAHR and also everyone in the Hoyofight '24 b/c i need points and drawing gets me points and the yummier the drawing the more points I point :] Q13: When would you say you learned to draw decently? I've always thought that I draw decently, but I stopped drawing overly large circular heads at the second half of fifth grade ^^ I would either say that I've always drawn decently in my eyes while I was drawing it or that I'll never draw decently enough for future me. Q14: Do you draw clothing folds? Nourge Q15: Do you take requests? I do but no one asks T^T I need to make a project Q16: Do you get art block frequently? Not really, I just get distracted a lot Q17: What is some advice you would give to a novice artist? Try using other peopleseseseses styles at first (with credit + only if you're allowed), be patient if it doesn't look right, do what's easy for you, take other people's suggestions! After a while of using different people's styles it will adapt to be your own! If multiple people say the head is too big then take a step back from the art, THE HEAD COULD BE GINORMOUS AS F- (speakikng from experience) but also if you like the way you draw don't change it for anyone! Use references Q18: What artists would you consider on a similar level to yourself or higher (not counting those from Q12)? Girls are easier to draw for me but men look better >:( i am in desperate need of aert class Q20: What is something that is hard to draw for you? Did- did you not already ask?? I used to use my finger but once i got the "paper texture" screen protector a stylus was better. Q23: Bitmap or vector? Vector Q24: How much of a role would you say colors play in a drawing? I think around 40-60% either way (good or bad) for example if you have a a style that's semi-realism or just generally doesn't show the lineart then the coloring and rendering is gonna be pretty important (although it can look amazing in monochrome as well) and in more manga like styles i feel like color can actually make it worse (which is why I tend to like manga illustrations rather than anime ones). I think letting people's imagination go wild is a fun component of art and that colors can sometimes mess that up for a person looking at the art (imagine my disappointment when i found out abyss razor had blond eyes and blue hair T0T) but in general how much the color matters depends on the style. Q25: How many art dumps have you shared? i'm not sure lol i've only titled about 2-4 art "dumps" i think Q26: Do you like drawing text in your art, or typing it? drawing it because it adds ✨cHaRaCtEr✨ Q28: When was the last big change in your art style?
