Just a little reminder on how terrible people are. You would apologize for accidentally misgendering a dog that has absolutely no concept or understanding of gender. But you would purposely turn away after misgendering someone who is trying so hard to feel comfortable in their body. They don't need you to make them feel bad. They go through enough hate on a regular basis just because they are trying to be themselves. What others are doing to them is cruel. They are not mental, they are not confused, they are not going to h€ll. They are expressing themselves. They aren't hurting anyone. The only reason people are terrible to them is because they see it as weird, or against some form of standards they have. Others think that everyone should be like them, and hate and try to tear down those who aren't. But let me let you in on a secret. We won't break. You can misgender us, hurt us, insult us, but we will never break. And for all the martyrs out there crying 'Turn to Jesus!' or 'Repent for your sins!' or 'You'll go to h€ll!', I understand that you are doing your version of 'helping' others. But sometimes, others don't want your 'help'. Sometimes, others just want to be loved and accepted for who they are, who they want to be. So instead of spreading hate, spread love. A good person would love others no matter what. Thank you.
