Dear scratch team I am part of a community on your website called the ROSS (revamped object show studio) and it has come to my attention that it was recently deleted. I have definitely seen problems in the server but I’m writing to you to maybe rethink the deletion of ROSS. the ROSS definitely has had its problems before but it’s not like everyone in the community is evil I personally think the entire reason we have the ROSS is because of the community it creates for people, we have a strong community together and scratch is a great place for all of us to have fun together it gives some of us joy, others it gives friends, and some it provides a meaning to their life to be part of this community. Overall I think the ROSS is a good thing for everyone in it. Another thing that makes the ROSS so great is its managers, we have an entire manager team of 20 people working day in and day out trying to take care of the ROSS but the problem is we don’t have reliable ways to know what people will do we can’t control others plus comments are open to everyone so they can come in and say whatever they want. comments aren’t the fault of the community they’re the fault of the individual people doing wrong and I think it would help to have more tools at our disposal to help with things like this because the limited tools can sometimes make it hard to help keep scratches TOS in studios where others can break TOS and blame it on the whole server, maybe a feature were you can enable something that makes it so comments can only be made by curators or other things like that because the ROSS manager team can’t handle everything by themselves and we could better keep scratch TOS if we had help. Sincerely -bananabred-
