Two hours later... Dragon Mutant, after sucessfully escaping the Zeta Laboratory and reaching a mile away from it, is trying to find The Forgotten File, who has been said to live in an abandoned apartment. I need to reach that place to warn him about Kirunai, that scientist, Dragon Mutant thought. Kirunai is now seeking him, meaning TFF is in danger. ~ Meanwhile, TFF looks for a room where he could sleep in, and he finds Aurora's teddy bear a few meters from her room. He picks it up and brings it to Aurora, who was already asleep. Then, he goes to the door to the room that was next to Aurora's room, which had worn-out wallpaper that was peeling from its walls and a bed near the wall, in which it had a poster that appeared to be ripped apart and taped back together. There was a desk and an end table, but that was pretty much it. He takes off the hoodie, places it on the empty end table, and then lay down on the bed near the torn band poster, held together with tape. He contemplated what his past could have looked like, which was to him, still very much blurry. He falls asleep, wondering if he had any friends in the past that he had forgotten. In the dream, he is alone in a dark void, which brightens to appear somewhat like Alan's PC. However, the color gang did not appear there. Instead, three white stickfigures appeared in front of him. They all waved hello to him, and then, the four hugged. However, TFF blinked, and saw that the PC was nearly destroyed, and everything appeared distorted. He saw a black entity appear behind him, which takes him away into an inky black void, in which he fell. The name "Despondos" echoed through it. And eight seconds after his fall started, the dream ends. TFF then woke up sweating. He thought that maybe he must have been attacked by a dark shadow entity that made him end up in this place. He couldn't make sense of the dream, which was apparently trying to tell him something. Something he might have forgotten. He then gets up to get a glass of water, and sat on the round table in the living room, contemplating the dream that hasn't receded in his memories, even after the seven minutes in which he was sipping his water. He wondered if the dream was a memory or something, and tried to interperet it to what might have made sense to him most. He concluded that he must have sacrificed himself to some entity to save his friends. He didn't know if the entity was Despondos or if it was someone calling to him. Then, he went to the bathroom to splash his face with water, but then he sees what appears to be a bandage on his right arm. He rolled up his sleeve and then unwraps a quarter of it just to see what was underneath it. Underneath the bandages, he found...burn scars. He thought that he was somehow...burned during that final fight, but that wouldn't be enough time just to wrap a bandage on this burn. He quickly wrapped the bandage back on and rolled his sleeve back down, confused of what happened that could have caused a burn like this. Slightly tiresome, he dries his face and returns to bed, thinking about how his memories could be restored, and where his friends would be now. He falls asleep after thinking if he could somehow trigger his super strength, and if his powers were much greater than what it seems. ~ The next day, TFF slowly got up still remembering the nightmare, put on his blue hoodie and walked out the door, sat down in one of the four chairs on the round table in the living room, the same one he sat in last night. Maybe I might be able to create and manipulate fire, he thought. He then tries to figure out how to get a flame out, with no avail for the first nine attempts, but then he started to concentrate on getting the flame out, and that's when it happened. A burst of blue flames formed onto his right hand, and then it went down five seconds later, until it could no longer be seen. Then, he heard Aurora and Ryftte's footsteps coming from the door that was to the left of the door to his room and the door across. Then, they went up to him. "You know...last night, I had a dream where the last part of it had someone echoing 'Despondos.'" He said, turning to face the two. "I...I've been wondering who that is...do you want to come with me to find out?" Ryftte then said, "Y'know, I was just about to say 'good morning,' but now that you bring this new thing up...sure! We'd love to help you!" "Yeh! I'll help you too, Ghosty!" Aurora said. "...Ghosty...?" TFF said. "Aurora wanted to nickname you 'Ghosty' because your left eye made her think of a ghost," said Ryftte. "...well...alright..." TFF said, slowly turning to his right. Suddenly, the sound of shattering glass alerts the trio, and they all turn, alertedly, to the now-destroyed window across the room. A dragon-like stickfigure that appeared to be wearing a collar with a diamond on it and had a tail with a diamond at the end of it, along with one horn on the right side of the head. [Rest in N&C]
The dragon-like stickfigure had red eyes, with the right eye's iris had a diamond shape and its sclera was yellow. There was also a diagonal line across the head with the right side grayish-maroon and the left side being white. TFF approached the dragon-like stickfigure that appeared to have broken into the place. "Who are you?" he asked. "The name's Dragon Mutant. Does 'The Forgotten File' reside here?" The dragon-like stickfigure said. "Y-yes...and that's me," TFF replied. "Okay," Dragon Mutant said. "Anyways, I have come here to warn you this one thing; A scientist that has pretty much gone mad to me by the name of Kirunai is looking for you, and he tortures hybrids through a series of experiments because they're more likely to be these 'amalgamate' things. Don't ask me what that is, I don't know what that is either. And like I said, Kirunai is looking for you, because you've got that left eye and it makes him think you're a hybrid." "Oh...really?" "Yep. And I advise you NOT to go out there and find him. Stay indoors for as long as you can, so his minions won't find you." "Hey, I-I don't mean to get off-topic, but last night I had a dream where at the end someone was echoing--" Before TFF could even finish the sentence, Dragon Mutant was already gone. To be continued... ~ Another chapter complete! We're halfway through the first book now...:D Also, @Fenrathedirewolf594, I saw your comment on Chapter 4 that the character in it is victim but unfortunately...it's not! Victim in this AU is pretty much different from the canon victim. Anyways, I will give a brief description of what Kirunai looks like; He basically is an alternate universe version of Primal (judging by palette) and he wears a cross earring on the right and he also wears a white lab coat and pants, and that's basically all I can remember XD I might give a full reference one day lol I really hope you enjoyed this chapter. I will work on the next chapter, but in the meantime, go ahead and read my other AvA AU, “Untitled” on my secondary account (Season 1 Comp.: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1035574009/), or go check out my other AUs if you haven't already :D ~ First: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/934283771/ Previous: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1013966717/ Next: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1090765773/ Last: ? This is from my AvA AU, Despondence, which is basically a tale about remembering, hope, and friendship (and possibly more). This story is a literature series and takes place at least 3 days after AvA V.
