Behold the Covenant Revolver. 2 modes of firing Press space or mouse for explosive shot Hold space or mouse for small burst Press R for reload "What is this weapon?" "I don't remember this from ANY Halo game!" "Revolver? What is this? A Western?" All of these are valid questions and I hope to answer them with a little Non-Canon Lore. There are MANY creative liberties here. In Halo 2 Two Radioactive projectile firing weapons were introduced. The Carbine and the Fuel Rod, as we know it today with its five mag clip. The Carbine is by far my favorite weapon to this day. Simple, powerful, effective, it contains everything a simple elite could wish for. What I do not like is the lack of weapons similar to the odd projectiles it fires. Sure its not as unique as the needler, yet there is a certain simple charm that I wish was transposed to other weapons. Now carbines are "Shortened rifles for specific assault roles." I wanted to create a weapon with the same essence of the Carbine yet a different category, creating the "Covenant Revolver." The Revolver part of the weapon holds six shots. When loading a new shot the projectile moves into the center of the "Mag." The loading has 2 different senarios. 1 it fires the entire projectile which is bigger than your average Carbine shot, so it's more explosive. 2 it splits the projectile into 6 shots, which are smaller than your average Carbine shot, being fired in a burst much like the beloved Battle Rifle 55 This is Where the Non-Cannon stuff kicks in: In Halo: Upsilon a new Sangheli sect will be revealed, The protectors. I will make 3 sects. Shadow elites (the red) destroyers of corruption from within. Everything else, Zealots, Generals, Honor Guard (The regular blue) Soldiers of the Covenant. The protectors (Green, like me) Protecting the sacredness, honor, and might of Sangheli Culture. So they have their own weapons, and since they are green it only makes sense for them to be more interested in Radioactive projectile firing weapons. Enjoy, and may the odds ever be in your favor.
Sorry that I've not been sharing very much, actually, I've been sharing nothing. A few things have been keeping me busy including Symphony, School, and Robotics. Now I am done with all of them. Scratch is something I really enjoy, ever since I first found it. Finally something where I can just make stuff with no limits. But other things, real life things are a priority. For that past 2 years, you may know, I have been working on the Game "Halo:Upsilon." Last summer I got some things done but not to my satisfaction. this School year I got nearly nothing done. but now? Now I can do something. For the past 2 years a story has been knocking itself around my head and I must put it into something. Now I will strive to complete it to some extent so that others may enjoy it. I have not shared much information on my idea since I want it completed before others look at it. Half baked muffin crumbs are not as good as the fully baked complete muffins. I will adopt Lego's old motto (which for WHATEVER REASON they don't use anymore, I wonder why, and instead use "rebuild the world"): Only the Best is good enough Thank you all for your patience, now I will do my best.
