Piper woke up the next day and went downstairs to find the empty living room. She fixed herself some hot coco. Then once finished she went to the couch about to read a book. Not long after Piper's mother and father entered the room. “Morning hon” she yawned. Her father Rico Fernsby sat down in a big blue rocking chair and her mother sat next to her. Piper picked up her most favorite book, Harry Potter. Her mother was in the same year as Harry and one of her friends wrote the book. After about 20 mins into the book Coral came downstairs. “‘Morning, hon,” yawned her mother again. “Good morning,” Coral said, “Is Ivy still asleep?” Her mother nodded. “When she wakes up we will head out to Diagon Alley.” A few minutes later, Ivy came trooping down the stairs. “Good morning, Ivy,” “Morning, Mum,” Ivy said, yawning and rubbing her eyes. Their mother asked, “Why don’t you three go get ready and we can go as soon as possible?” Piper put her book down and looked up. Ivy and Coral both raced up the stairs, wide awake while Piper followed. Piper changed into her most favorite outfit. Blue baggy jeans with tons of pockets and a green shirt with her favorite teal hoodie. She raced to the bathroom to brush her teeth. Once she finished she grabbed her brush and started to brush her hair. It took longer than expected from all the tangles. Piper ran downstairs to see Coral waiting to leave. Coral was also wearing blue jeans and a white shirt. Piper started tying her purple high tops. Just as she finished Ivy came down the stairs as slow as a snail wearing a super basic purple dress. “Ready girls?” Their mother asked, walking toward the fireplace. “Yes!” Ivy squealed. “Rico, do you want to come?” Their mum asked their dad. “I’ll pass,” he said. The four went to the fireplace and their mother gave them each a handful of Floo powder. “Coral, you go first.” Coral stepped into the fireplace, throwing down the powder and calling out, “Leaky Cauldron!” Next it was Pipers turn, she also said “Leaky Cauldron!” Piper started to spin wildly like the wind! And she got a bit too nauseous. It was a bit scary at first because she thought she was gonna vomit. Then she landed in the Leaky Cauldron. “Hi! Coral! Wasn't that weird!" Coral just grunted at Piper as if she didn't care. Then Ivy finally came late as usual. Not long after there mom came. “Come on,” she said, while wiping soot from her clothes and ushering them towards the brick wall. She took out her wand and tapped the brick before the bricks created an archway. Piper and her sisters were speechless, looking down the cobbled street. Their mum looked at Coral and asked, “What do you want to buy first? Your wand, cauldron, books, robes..?” Coral stood there for a moment then said, “Wand" The family set off down the street, before their mum pointed out a tiny shop, with a sign saying, “Ollivanders.” All three of the girls ran inside the shop and started looking around. The room was filled with thousands of boxes piled in shelves along the walls. Before Piper could fully process what she was seeing, a man came to the front desk. “Why, if it isn’t Eleanor Fernsby!” He said as Piper's mother came up behind her. “Hi there, Mr. Ollivander!” Said their mother. “Please, dear Eleanor, call me Marshall, or Mr. Marshall, anything. Mr. Ollivander was my grandfather’s name!” Eleanor chuckled. Marshall turned towards Coral, “What’s your name?” He asked. “Coral,” she said. “Are you here to buy a wand? Oh, who am I kidding, of course you are!” He said jovially. Coral took half a step backwards. This man was a lot. He turned his back to her and went to the shelves, before choosing a box and random and handing the wand inside to Coral. She waved it around, causing a glass vase to break. “Nope, nope, nope!” He said, snatching it back and choosing a different wand. He handed the new one to Coral, who waved it, which led to Marshall’s quill and ink to go flying off his desk. Marshall took that wand too, choosing the next one. “Here,” he said, “this should be the one.” Coral waved it around, and pretty purple sparks came from the end. “That’s the ticket!” Marshall said, “English oak, unicorn tail hair core, 10”.” Coral looked at her new wand. Her mother paid for it and they left. After Ollivanders they went to Madam Malkins for robes, Flourish and Blotts for books, and the Apothecary for potion supplies. Once their shopping was done they went to the Leaky Cauldron for lunch. “Mum,” Ivy said once they started eating. “Hm?” “When do I get to go to Hogwarts?” She demanded. “When you turn eleven,” Eleanor said through a yawn. “Aw man,” Ivy whined. "Then when do I get to go to hogwarts?" Piper asked, "When your older sister Coral go's to her second year you will go into your First so in all next year then Ivy the year after that!" They ate the rest of their lunch in silence before returning home. Coral went to her room, Ivy fell alsleep on the couch and Piper finished her book.
