✩ entering your winter arc oct. 9. 2024 ✩ pt 1: intro OK GUYS. This is an inspo from a youtube vid I watched recently by LenaLifts (GO SUBSCRIBE SHES AWESOME) but I wanted to share some of the details with you guys because I think it's important. ✩ pt 2: SO... What is a winter arc? A winter arc is basically where you transform your life in the fall and winter months of the year. It's where your October 1st becomes your new January 1st. This is where you become the best version of yourself so that by new years, you are already into your healthy habits while everyone are just starting theirs. Firstly, you need a plan. Nothing is achieved with a goal and some way to get there. For me, as a habitually organized person, I recommend writing down the things you want to achieve and pick 3 things that really speak to you as reasonable and the most effective. Then create your "mission statement." This is a statement that will be your motivation throughout these months. You will use those three goals to make it. For example, if my goals were to eat healthy, work out consistently, and work on my self-appreciation, then my mission statement might look like this: "In my winter arc, I will be the healthiest, fittest, and most loving version of myself. I will show up for myself every day and consistently put in my best effort." Make sure to write it in present tense so that sends out positive affirmations into the universe to really make it come true. If you write it as a "I will try to be healthy." or "I want to be fit." then you are failing yourself before you even start. The second step is to create boundaries for yourself. Create a list of rules for yourself to follow and a list of rules that you will implement into your life and into your relationships with others. This will help you set the boundaries you want/need and will help you stay motivated. I say to create rules that will help you and are related to achieving your goals. The final step that I will include here is that you have to stay committed. If you really want to change your life then make it happen. There will be days you don't want to get out of bed and don't want to work out or eat healthy, but I promise you that this will all pay off in the long term. ✩ pt 3: I know this was a lot to unpack but this is a VERY simplified three-step winter arc plan. It barely brushes on the several other topics that are relevant and helpful. I suggest you do more research on your own because this will only take you so far. If your life is the way you want it and you're happy, that's all that matters. This is to help the people who may have gone through a time in their life that they need to pick themselves back up from and need a fresh start.
