Harry and Ron left the Divination classroom. They saw Hermione heading to Defense Against the Dark Arts. "Hey! Hermione!" Ron called. Hermione turned around to see Harry and Ron racing towards her. "Why did you leave in the middle of class?" Ron asked, breathing heavily. "Like I said, it was a pile of rubbish." Hermione said, matter-of-factly. "Well, yeah, me and Harry agree, but you can't just walk out." Ron said. "Yeah, Hermione, that was a little disrespectful." Harry added. "Oh, okay, that's what you two think?" Hermione said, sarcastically. Harry and Ron nodded. Hermione shrugged. "I guess I'm just not gifted with the inner eye!" Hermione laughed. Harry snickered too. The trio walked through the hallway towards the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom. The door was already open, so Harry walked inside. On a table there was a glass tank that was inhabited by something Harry had never seen before. "That's a Grindylow!" Hermione said, pointing at the tank. "That's right, Miss Granger." Professor Remus Lupin said. "Hello Professor Lupin," Harry greeted. "G'day Harry, how are you, after the dementor attack?" Lupin asked. "I'm, I'm good, thanks for helping me out." Harry said, taking a seat next to Hermione. "Any time, Harry." Lupin said, returning to his desk to call role. Harry wasn't paying attention to role call this morning, he merely responded with 'present' when his name was called. His attention returned when Lupin started to explain what they were doing for class today. "Today class, we will be taking notes on Grindylows. Please open your books to Chapter One." Harry read the chapter on Grindlylows, he learned that there are three other names for the sickly green horned creature. Polywiggle, Candypole, and Jarvis. When class was over, Harry headed to lunch.
