If you don’t like zombies k!lling people, I highly suggest clicking off of this. Chapter 2 (starting now) That night, Jeff went to sleep worried that something could’ve happened to John at some point during the aftermath of the outbreak. ‘I really need to see if he’s okay, if not, then injured at best. I don’t want to know if he…’ Jeff couldn’t finish the thought. If his friend had turned, he still has a chance to try and save him. The next morning, after he wakes up, Jeff has a quick breakfast of granola bars. He then gets up and packs what he had taken out of the duffel bag, and starts his side journey to John’s house. It took Jeff two hours on foot to reach John’s neighborhood. Then it took an additional twenty minutes to find his house, in ruins. The house had been broken into at some point, the windows broken. Jeff’s feeling about something bad happening had increased due to seeing this. As he slowly walked up to the door, he heard a few weird noises coming from inside through the windows. Jeff slowly, yet cautiously, inched his way over to the window to take a quick peek inside. He reached the edge of the window, and slowly peeked his eyes inside. It took a few seconds for his eyes to adjust to the darkness of the inside, but once they did, he didn’t like what he saw. In the living room, there was a dead body lying on the floor. Over that body, was his friend. But John was a zombie now, and had taken his first victim. Jeff couldn’t believe it, and he stumbled back, falling down. John heard this and spun around towards the window. In the next moment, Jeff only knew what could be described as pure terror. John had leapt out the window, and was flying to land straight on top of Jeff. End of Chapter 2.
