Hello, as I promised. I am continuing to draw more warriors content. I was thinking of creating different scenarios on how some aspects of Warrior Cats storyline should've been fixed.
This time around, I went for a Starless Clan since I haven't really enjoyed this arc mainly due to how lacking in development and OOC (Out of Character) it is towards many of the characters including those who died without any proper closure, whatsoever. I'll create an interesting concept eventually on how I would fix Splashtail as a villain since I feel as if his motives are reused from Hawkfrost and many of the villians way back in the past arcs. For this art, it's definitely going to be a way of fixing Splashtail in a way as well as fixing what could've made the story better. In this scenario, I decided to keep Reedwhisker alive as his continuous disappearance would've made the story much more interesting and I'm going to keep Mistystar dead as it would spice the plot (Plus, she's been alive for way too long this girl needs a rest XD), and how he would've eventually be encountered by Frostpaw by coincidence after she fled from being exiled and betrayed by Splashtail and tried to seek refuge. He would eventually be found in Thunder, when Whistlepaw took Frostpaw to the horseplace. As it turns out, Frostpaw discovered that Reedwhisker's traces of blood at where he disappeared, is alive in front of her own eyes but badly hurt from Splashtail's and Curlfeather's murder attempt. Due to his injuries, he stayed back nearby the horseplace for a while to secure his safety from the tensions that happened in Riverclan without their proper leader. Once Frostpaw got better, she helped Reedwhisker get better and heal from his wounds that he sustained. He would eventually tell Frostpaw the stories of what happened and how he ran off, that he figured out that his mother was going to die as soon as she was holding a clan meeting. He would discover Splashtail's and Curlfeather's plan to give Mistystar a lethal food poisoning that would make her unexpectedly pass away later in front of everyone. Also due to her age, her immune system is very frail so food poisoning would be her death sentence. Due to his guilt and awareness that he partially witnessed their set up, he withdrawed from the entire clan overall and found an opportunity to do so during the hunting patrol. However, Curlfeather and Splashtail would figure out of him trying to run away, attacked him in a murder attempt to keep him silent and to also prevent him from becoming Riverclan's next leader. At the moment, Reedwhisker realized who was responsible for causing the death of his beloved mother. This time, Reedwhisker was able to flee completely as he tries to lose them. Once he lost both of them, he went to hiding in a place nearby the horseplace in order to protect himself. But Reedwhisker chooses to not tell Frostpaw on how Mistystar met her end, still feeling ashamed of how he couldn't prevent her death and knowing that he was the one who witnessed Curlfeather's and Splashtail's plan to overtake leadership of Riverclan. Due to Reedwhisker being alive in this scenario, the outcome where Frostpaw reveals the whole clan that Splashtail was the one responsible for the disappearance of Reedwhisker and the death of Mistystar would still remain the same. However this time, Riverclan is in tension with one another and there's mistrust among the remaining RiverClan cats. Since Reedwhisker survives in this scenario, there would be a division where almost half of the clan would join in with him and Frostpaw in trying to overthrow Splashtail. This time, Reedwhisker would be the one to lead the cats and play a huge role at the end of Wind and in the upcoming unreleased book, Star. (This means our boi is finally getting character development and the spotlight needed for once lol) Due to not knowing the details of how Star will play out, as I will possibly make predictions in another project, I will mention how a Starless Clan will end with Reedwhisker. I believe, by all cats being able to gather together to end Splashtail's leader, with the help of Nightheart and Sunbeam (I will give them both more in-depth in a future project in the rewritten scenario), there would be a battle between Splashtail's supporters and the remainder of Riverclan. They would all eventually end up saving Riverclan and ending Splashtail's reign of terror. However, I think Splashtail ends up surviving and his survival would possibly lead to what could've caused the entire clans to leave the territory in the next arc. With Splashtail driven out and overthrown, the clans remained safe and protected. With Reedwhisker becoming Riverclan's true leader, Riverclan will take time to heal from its wounds that Splashtail has left on this clan.
