Prodaby is the god of the bodies of fresh water. he is the brother of Naomi (God of Saltwater). Prodaby is known to be a playful spirit and loves to swim with the fish that live in the rivers. he is also said to ensure that crops are well-fed and there is enough water for wildlife to drink. It is unknown whether or not Prodaby and Naomi exist due to no one witnessing them in their spirit forms (partially because these spirits are water-bound)but ancient depictions of Naomi differ greatly before and after Ampha's fall. the main difference being that before Ampha's fall, Prodaby (along with Naomi) having back legs and stepping out of the water. depictions of the fall, showing Ampha inflicting what seems to be a curse upon Naomi and Prodaby right before her fall. after the fall, it shows that their legs look as if they're melting away, further depictions showing that if they stepped out of their waters, their bodies would start to dissolve. it seems that Ampha has cursed them to stay in their waters for all of eternity. Despite his rather aggressive appearance, he is relatively docile. the appearance is likely a method of not being spotted by locals. unlike his sister, He is not depicted as much, only occasionally coming out of the water. Similar to Naomi, his body is made out of water, better for hiding. perhaps he is ashamed of the curse he was inflicted with. once a god of power and now the sun and the moon are ruling the earth without their saltwater and freshwater brethren
