God made everyone amazing. Not perfect. No one is perfect. We've all made mistakes! I've made a bunch myself... Even though we make mistakes, God loves each and every one of us more than we can imagine. But one person who lived on this Earth was perfect. He made no mistakes, yet all the authorities hated Him. This man was God's Son. His name is Jesus. The soldiers and the authorities had Him killed. They hammered nails through his wrists and feet and hung Him on a cross. See, everything was in God's hands. Let me explain. God created everyone. But when we sin, we grow away from God. Sin is when someone does something that God has said not to. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23 NIV The Bible says that everyone sins. But Jesus never sinned, and He still had to die. Why? Well, the Bible also says that the price of sin is death. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23 NIV Jesus died to pay the ultimate price for all our sins. If we trust in God, we will have eternal life through Jesus Christ our Savior. The book of Psalms, chapter 16, verse 11, says, "You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand." God didn't leave us! He sent His Son, Jesus, to die for our sins so that we can have eternal life.
