THIS IS A PLAYABLE DEMO --> the full version of the game will have more content! (all 48 stages of chapter 1, unit evolutions, etc.) Use turbowarp, to improve gameplay experience: https://turbowarp.org/1045178762?stuck&clones=Infinity Battle Cats is a fun game, so i remake in scratch. I spent a ton of time (40+ hours) on it to make the graphics high quality and the features as similar as possible to the actual game (with a few exceptions). Double click flag button, it helps clear start-up lag. If the game bugs out, press: "z" and "0" at the same time This will bring you to the menu screen, in case you get softlocked. Right now it has four units, four enemies and seven levels (up to japan) The game features: -Starting tutorial -Unit range blocks WITHOUT touching blocks -Smooth animations -Left & right arrows for mobile -Level progression system -Upgrade menu -Unit knockback that works properly -Unit layering (which occasionally breaks and idk why) -Scrolling levels -Boss enemies (only one but still) -A system of saving and loading progress -a pause button in-battle -and more in the full version! For some buttons, you might need to click and hold for half a second longer for the click to register. You know the button has been pressed when it becomes bigger. Project officially began on 7/6/24 >---------------------[Actual Credits]---------------------< Enemy bases from @snivy04 in his project, “Battle Cats Ver 1.4.2.5” Cat base from @Schrodiskitten in his project "The Battle Cats Hacked!!!" Heavy thanks to for his scratch project "point in direction x-position y-position" fixing the issue in the point in direction block, even if he doesn't know I took his code. I used wiki for almost ALL of the cat / enemy animations (as reference), but every animation frame is hand made by me, since copy and pasting makes it look very terrible and low quality. Also used wiki for all game stats, from attack damage to movement speed to upgrade costs.
