Brian- Three years ago... Let me just start with, I didn't ask for any of this to happen. Now, you might be wondering what I'm rambling on and on about, so let me explain. Let's see...it started off as an ordinary day. I woke up and rolled out of bed like usual and I put on some shorts that I've found just lying around in my room along with a t-shirt that also happened to be lying around. I messily made my bed and ran a hand through my hair. I then started to make my way downstairs, the sweet smell of pancakes greeted me. "Good morning, Brian!" My mom chirped from behind the kitchen counter. "Hey, mom." I smiled, hugging her from behind as I pecked her cheek. "How'd you sleep?" She asked me as she flipped the pancake onto a plate. "Pretty good." I answered, happily taking the plate from her. "That's good." She answered as she wiped her hands on a nearby towel. I sat down at the table and began to eat my pancakes. Once I finished, I glanced at the time. 7:20. "Alright, well, I gotta head to school." I said while I stood up, bringing my plate to the sink. I walked to the entrance and slung my bag over my shoulder. "Okay, have a good day at school, learn lots!" My mom called out. "You know I won't." I chuckled, leaving the house. As I walked to the school, I glanced around, listening to the birds sing and the trees rustle. The sun was shining brightly up in the sky, beating down on my skin. I sighed softly and continued to walk. "Come here, Brian..." A quiet yet cold and eerie voice spoke. I furrowed my eyebrows and stopped walking, looking at where the voice had come from but, I didn't see anything. Or anyone. "Who's there?" I called out, still high alert. Had I just imagined it? I shook my head and continued to walk. "Don't ignore me now, child...come...follow me..." the voice spoke again, and I froze once more. As I glanced around, this time I spotted a shadow like figure in the woods....that's what it had looked like. Curious, I decided to walk over to the forest slowly. Sure, it could've been a bad idea, but the school was just a few feet away so, it couldn't really have been a problem. I followed the shadow deeper into the woods. "...where are we going?" I eventually asked, staring at the shadow. "You'll see." Was the only response I had gotten. I sighed and looked around the forest as I walked. I heard a low growling sound a few seconds later and I quickly turned my head to face the shadow, only to see that it wasn't there. It had been replaced by an enormous creature. It wasn't one that you'd see on a normal day. No, this one was different. Scary. It was tall and burly. It's skin was a coat of green with a few specks of gold. But before I could do anything. Before I could scream or run for help, it bit me, my neck, and the world around me suddenly went black...
