Part one - 313 words The small town located in the land of Xivillath consisted of just one main street. It did not appear well-kept, buildings showed visible signs of aging and no one had the time to give a wall a fresh coat of paint, but nonetheless the community was very tightly knit. The gravel pathways that led to each important structure was lined with a few beds of flowers. The farmer’s market held in the village was always bustling, as many people traveled long distances to purchase the goods sold here. Their agriculture was thriving, as they lived in the so-called “sweet spot” in terms of climate. Civilians gathered in the town hall every Friday night to enjoy a meal together. They always discussed the possibility of expanding their town, but they essentially had no need to do so. A small school, a few restaurants, a community center, and a playground was all of the community infrastructure they needed to feel content with their lives. The Twin Lakes hospital was given small upgrades during the time period of a decade. The cheap plastic chairs were given cushions, and a couple more stools had been added to the seating area. The stark white color still shone brightly, however, it accumulated a small amount of grime. The medical posters were updated periodically, showing newer information for patients to read. In the children's room, the same TV was playing an episode of a PBS cartoon. The toys looked well used, and there were now hand sanitizer bottles in every corner. The jigsaw mat looked tampered with, and the crayons that were kept on the table looked very worn down. The ceiling tiles were responsible for sprinkling dust all over the hospital. This annoyed the receptionists, but they were the only ones that really noticed it. The AC problem had not been fixed, even though it had been ten years. Part 2:
