once the site of a brilliant and flourishing civilization, now is abandoned, ignored, as everything lies in ruins. old stone walls slowly crumbling, vines creeping gradually over once-great rundown buildings, remnants of great works of art, vast feats of architecture, evidence of a wonderful civilization once at its prime, all reduced to dust by the savage and unyielding winds of time. nothing is invincible, nothing is untouchable, nothing lasts forever. this used to be a bustling metropolis, a beautiful centre for fashion and food, art and innovation, education and community, and most of all joy. now it is lonely. everyone is gone. the land sits in waiting as nature reclaims it, as the marks made by human hands slowly and gradually fade. it would be a beautiful process, if someone were here to watch it. but as it happens it happens alone. the crumbling walls and tangling vines have only each other for company.
