Wisteria and Milo sat in the Great Hall, the air buzzing with excitement from the Quidditch trials.They were surrounded by the rest of their new teammates, their plates piled high with roast chicken and steaming vegetables. Despite the tension with Draco earlier, the mood at the table was light, filled with laughter and strategizing for their upcoming matches. "Where's Emily?" asked Wisteria "I don't know, actually," Milo replied, glancing around. "Maybe she had to stay behind to talk to the captain?" "The captain is with the rest of the team here" Wisteria pointed out. Milo's eyes widened. "Oh, right!" she said "Then where's Emily?" "I don't know, I asked you!" Milo stayed silent. "Maybe she had extra homework" she suggested lamely. But Wisteria had noticed that something was off. "We should go look for her," she said with a concerned frown. "It's not like her to be late for dinner." "It's not like Charlotte to not be talking to me. Or you guys for that matter" They looked up to see a tall boy. "I'm Archie Potter. Cousin of Harry and Charlotte" "Oh, right!" exclaimed Wisteria. "You're the cousin who taught Charlotte everything she knows about Quidditch!" "So why is Charlotte not talking?" Archie shrugged, his expression tight. "Draco was being his usual charming self. Made some comments about her being too friendly with the wrong kind of people." "Shouldn't he be saying that about Emily? And Carina?" "Well, he's not exactly subtle with his feelings," Wisteria said, taking a bite of her chicken. "But let's not worry about Draco right now. We need to find Emily." And just as she said that, Emily popped out of nowhere! "Hey guys, I had to go to the library to do some extra work, sorry" "That's what I said" said Milo looking pointedly at Wisteria. "Sorry" she mouthed back. Just then a flood of Ravenclaws came. It was Josie Johnson, with a bunch of Ravenclaws trailing behind her for no particular reason. "Hi! I'm Clara! "Hey! I'm Edward!" "Hello! I'm Crystal!" "Ummmmm why are there so many people behind you?" asked Wisteria "Because they want my homework answers" said Josie, rolling her eyes. "uh ok" Maria had noticed Charlotte "Hey, we should convince her not to listen to uggo ferrets like Draco!" "Pfft uggo ferrets. ok!"
