MAY 2ND, 1998 “Bella, put the girls here,” a blonde woman said. “You sure no one could hurt them, Cissy?” the other asked, her with black hair. “They will not be in any danger, I promise….” As the Battle of Hogwarts was happening outside, well obviously, it’s in the the name, Hogwarts, while the Dark Side’s ruler’s most loyal follower wasn’t present at the moment. Her name was Bellatrix Lestrange. Not being there, Bellatrix had somewhat more safety for her newborns, Delphini and Amelia Riddle. The Dark Side’s ruler was somehow the girls’ father, although they would only ever know by the time they were eight years old. “I’ll see you two soon, honeys,” their mother said gently. “Cissy, help take care of Amy and Delphi while I’m away, got me?” Bellatrix said to her sister demandingly. “Yes, yes, Bella, I will,” Cissy replied. Yet, she didn’t see the children soon, but never again, as later that day she was killed by Molly Weasley. Finding this information out, Cissy, whose actual name was Narcissa Malfoy, had to find someone to take care of Amelia and Delphini, as she had enough matters on her own hands to keep the girls. “Mia, please, please, take them,” Narcissa said to a woman she met while being a Death Eater, a member of the Dark Side. “Narcissa, again, no,” she replied. “MIA PLEASE TAKE THEM THEY CAN’T TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES PLEASE EUPHEMIA!” she yelled. “Fine, then, what’s my reward eh?” “I’ll pay you what about that?” “Good.” The two girls, Delphini, who went by Delphi, and Amelia, who was Amy, soon became the only person each other had, as they created a strong bond together, as Euphemia had no love, nor care, for either of them, just wishing for the two to be sent off to Hogwarts so she could get away from the “brats” even though Delphini was only a few years old now. And as they found out about their parentage, the girls started calling themselves “Augureies,” which Delphini came up with the idea, and even getting herself a tattoo of one when they were older. They soon started hiding their surname with “Diggory” and pretending to be Amos Diggory’s nieces, as Euphemia let them so they could get out of her way and home.
