The FAMAS F1 is a French Bullpup AR designed and manufactured in France by MAS in 1978. Around 400,000 F1 models were produced. GTEC has taken a liking to the FAMAS and has redesigned it. The traditional carry handle has been heavily lowered, and the cocking handle has been replaced with one that comes out to the side, the fire selector has been changed to a simpler design, and the barrel has been reduced to 18.4 inches, with a threaded and fluted barrel (currently equipped with a muzzle brake.)
