“Bye grandma!” I said to Grandma Andromeda before running towards the barrier between platforms nine and ten. Today would be—and is— my first day at Hogwarts. As I disappear, I turn my head back to watch her wave back to me. I wait for Astrid, my adopted sister, to get through, and we walk to the scarlet-red train. My cousins, Hailey and Delphine, would also be coming to the school in the same year as Astrid and I, so when we had finally gotten situated and found seats in an unoccupied compartment, and waited for the girls to join us. Melania, our other cousin, would already be in her third year. “Hey girlies!” Melania exclaimed as she plopped herself down across from Astrid, who was one seat in front of me. “Wotcher Mel!” I replied. Grandma Andromeda would tell me how my mother, Nymphadora, would say “Wotcher,” as a greeting, and I decided a few years ago, it would be fun to copy her. “Hi.” Astrid said. “You know, Sarrie, why do you always say “wotcha,” eh?” Mel asked me. “Why not?” I told her with a smile. It was a few joyful minutes until Delphine and Hailey arrived, sitting a couple of the other seats off the compartment. “Delly, Haize, how are you two?” Astrid asked them merrily. “We’re good, you?” Haize questioned. “Good….” she answered. They spoke about Quidditch, even though they couldn’t try out for teams in their first year, food as it came around, and more on the long way to Hogwarts. “Hey, guys, I mean girls, could I go and get one of my friends to sit with us if that’s alright?” “Yeah, of course!” Delphine said to her. “‘Kay, lemme go get her real quick.” She came back in a bit later with a girl with blackish-purplish hair. “I’m, uh, Sakura Granger, but you all can call me Sakura,” she said hesitantly. “Nice, I’m Astrid Lupin,” Astrid said, “she’s Sarah Lupin, my nonbiological sister,” she pointed to me, “Delphine Malfoy,” she stuck her finger to Delphine now, “and Hailey Malfoy,” she gestured this time to Haize. Then a few boys walked into the compartment through the back door. //Like this place couldn’t get more full// I thought. “Hey Aunt Sarah!” one of them exclaimed. //He /had/ to call me aunt again didn’t he?// I found myself thinking annoyedly. “Wait, aunt? Sare, you’re an aunt already?!” Delphine asked me. “I’ll explain later…. Wotcher, Aiden.” I said. “Who’re these guys?” I jerked my head in the two others’ direction. “Oh, these are my friends, Xander Wood and Albus Potter.” Albus? Albus? ALBUS? I didn’t know he was coming this year too! “Wait, have I seen you before?” Albus asked me. “Uh, I think so. Aren’t you Harry’s son?” “Yeah, he’s your brother’s godfather isn’t he?” “I believe so,” I replied. I took a quick glance towards the girls. Was it just me, or was Haize blushing a tad? After they /finally/ left the place and went back to their own compartment, Delphine popped the question. “So, how are you— Haize why are you blushing?” she said, changing the question mid-sentence. “Shut it.” she replied, looking down, smiling all the same. “Well either way, Sarrie, how are you an aunt already?” I started to explain how my OTHER brother, who was around seventeen-ish years older than me, had a son, in which made Astrid and I aunts. “But you two are so… young!” Melania said openly. “Alright, alright we get it, Delly, I thought you already knew,” Astrid retorted. “Yeah of course I did, but still.” As it started to get dark and the bright day fell into a beautiful, starry night, we started to grab our trunks, and change into plain black robes, the train started to slow down, and we stepped off the train, led by a humongous man, which Teddy said was named Hagrid, into boats, and finally went into the large castle. //Hello Hogwarts// I thought to myself.
