Recently I stumbled upon a wonderful composer named Dennis Korn, and I decided to make a noteblock on one of his music pieces, called Rose Garden I used this sheet music https://musescore.com/user/34473408/scores/13976935 Double click the flag! Else the notes may be off!! This is my first noteblock, and just like with all music pieces, i can’t quite recreate stuff like slurs, volume, dynamics, trills, that well in scratch, but i tried my best There didnt seem to be dynamic markings so i just guessed it was either mp or mf Probably sounds better played on an actual piano but yeah It took me forever to figure out the ties And i found some songs before this i was gonna try to make into a noteblock But i dint think i would be able to replicate pedal and without pedal, the notes dont connect properly and i think it sounds better with pedal so like yeah Also if you find any mistakes or have any feedback, feel free to tell me in the comments I speedran this lol So theres a potential for transcription or coding mistakes Thanks!
I may make more noteblocks this month purely cause its summer break and im bored so give me song suggestions in the comments Also, if you leave the tab or click inside it starts glitching for some reason Felt it was only fitting to make some art of a rose, and i thought a blockshade style would look cool Then scratch refused to save my work (ok it was only 54 minutes at least) So um I just made a much simpler rose instead and thank the gods it saved This is my first noteblock so i hope you like it! Thank you to @codingfool2002 for the tutorial, and some scripts Google for spotify references and rose reference I was using broadcasts for measures but because of all the ties and cause it kept sounding off and broadcasting at the wrong time, it’s too difficult to pinpoint the cause with so many broadcasts so imma just split em up by phrase instead of measure instead Created july 10th (this is just for my reference) After 1 day i finished page 1! Getting the hang of it now. I save every line but it still refuses to save a lot so thats annoying :( Finished after 2 days on july 12th (this was only 80 measures and 12 lines and since i already have piano experience it was pretty easy to do this) Yes i themed it after like a spotify song Idk why i just Felt like that would look cool I dont even use spotify lol
